Devi sapere che il 25 Aprile scorso, del tutto casualmente il giorno della Liberazione, ho chiesto all’attuale provider Wide .it di rimuovere il Registrar Lock in vista di un trasloco di Casperize.com sui server di Aruba. Mi dirai, niente di più facile. Sbagliato. Wide ha rimosso il Registrar Lock, ma c’è un ma: questo di per sè non è sufficiente. Il contatto email registrato nel Whois Record deve poi rispondere ad una email standard del nuovo maintainer, confermando in questo modo il trasferimento. Se questo contatto email è un indirizzo del provider attuale, come si da il caso che sia, il successo dell’intera procedura dipende dall’onestà e trasparenza di gente che sa di essere sul punto di perdere un cliente.
