Replacement Theology vs. Christian Zionism
2007-07-01 01:31:00
June 30, 2007 - Naturally, "Christian Zionism " gets its origin from the term, "Zionism"--a movement that is considered secular and political in many circles--while entirely biblical in others. Zionists seek to support, facilitate and advance the return of the Jewish people and sovereignty to their native homeland--the land of Israel. Christians who see the regathering of the Jewish people in their land, as well as the establishment of the sovereign nation of Israel in 1948, as the literal fulfillment of biblical prophecy are known as "Christian Zionists". Christian Zionists see the Jewish people as the "apple of God's eye"--His Chosen people, and hold firm that God's promises, established in the Abrahamic Covenant, remain in effect today.A common opponent of Christian Zionism is the doctrine of Replacement Theology , also known as Supersessionism. The underlying, doctrinal belief that seeks to belittle and discredit the objectives of Christian Zionism is the misguided assertion pur...

United Church of Christ (UCC) Reverses Anti-Israel Resolution
2007-06-23 22:46:00
June 23, 2007 - The United Church of Christ General Synod has adopted a balanced resolution regarding the Israel i-Palestinian conflict, reversing the anti-Israel and anti-peace divestment resolution of a previous Synod. This move is similar to the change adopted earlier by Presbyterian Church USA, reversing their own anti-Israel resolution. The most important parts of this resolution are commitment to a two state peaceful solution, rather than liquidation of Israel, commitment to a balanced approach to the causes and history of the conflict, and a call for an end to incitement and violence. However, we can surmise that as in the case of PC-USA, the UCC resolution will be challenged again and again by anti-Israel forces within the church. It has rarely been so clear as it is here that those who insist on boycotting Israel are taking an immoral stance that is against peace and against human rights. This resolution is in many ways a model for the resolutions to be offered as alternatives...

Israel, the "Occupying Oppressor"
2007-06-20 15:13:00
June 20, 2007 - News reports today confirm that Ehud Barak, the newly-appointed, Isra el i Defense Minister has ordered the IDF to begin evacuating any of the "Palestinians" attempting to flee Gaza who require urgent medical attention into Israel through the Erez crossing. These are the same Arabs who, just over a year ago, democratically-elected a terrorist regime, whose charter openly advances an ideology committed to the eradication and annihilation of Israel, into public office shortly after Israel evacuated the region. Mind you, I realize, as Christians, we are to love our enemies, but I must say: Mr. Barak, you, sir, are a better man than I.Here is where you'll find irony in its purest form. Through their own repetitive, tired accusations, the "Palestinians" have continually and emphatically labeled Israel as an "occupying oppressor"--guilty of untold, countless crimes of brutality against the Arabs within her borders. Yet, when true oppression comes raining down in the Gaza St...

A History Lesson Unleashed: The Gaza-Iraq Connection
2007-06-19 17:01:00
June 19, 2007 - My apologies for the extended hiatus since my last entry. I have recently returned from Israel and jet-lag isn't exactly a writer's best friend. In walking the present-day streets of Jerusalem, one is hardly able to discern that just over the Judean Hills to the South, on the coastal sand dunes of the Gaza Strip, the essence of pure evil has manifested itself in the form of an isolated, radical Islamist state. Generally speaking, a visitor in Israel needs only to look at the faces of its everyday citizens in order to accurately discern the levels of safety and stability in the Holy Land. Quite literally, if they look worried, so should you. Surprisingly, Israelis--or at least the ones I've encountered--have remained quite calm and collected despite Israel bearing witness to full-blown, Arab civil war within her borders. Israel has been here before. However, let us in no way be unclear: all hell has broken loose in the Gaza Strip, and the "flood waters" of chaos an...

ACLU-lawsuit Gets Christian Cross at War Memorial Covered with Tarp; Courts
2007-05-30 01:00:00
May 29, 2007 - Our nation paused this week to pay tribute to the millions of brave and courageous souls who have made the ultimate sacrifice for this great nation so that its citizens may continue to live their lives as a free and democratic society. Even as memorial preparations were being made, the war in Iraq saw its bloodiest day, in terms of troop casualties, since it began in 2003. But while a nation grieved the loss of its fallen heroes, during services such as those seen at the Arlington National Cemetery and Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) continued to feed its bloodlust for anything Christian by attacking the presence of religious symbols--mainly the Christian cross--found on war memorials across the country. Adding to its existing lawsuit targeting a cross at the Mt. Soledad Veterans Memorial in San Diego, American Civil Liberties Union (or is it the Anti-Christian League United? My memory escapes me.) attorneys petitioned the courts...

Irrevocable and Everlasting: Replacement Theology Debunked
2007-05-23 05:13:00
“Lest you be wise in your own conceits, I want you to understand this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written, “The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob”; “and this will be my covenant with them when I take away their sins.” As regards the gospel, they are enemies of God for your sake. But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable." Romans 11 25-29May 22, 2007 – Frustrating—vexing, even, to me are those who call themselves, “Christians”, who just don’t seem to “get it” when it comes to harvesting a sound interpretation and implementation of the Word of God. Mind you, there are numerous doctrinal components of the Holy Scriptures that, when all avenues of expository and exegetical dialogue have seemingly been exhauste...

Jerusalem Day: America Tips its Hand
2007-05-15 02:49:00
"It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it." ~Zechariah 12:3 May 14, 2007 - As Israel prepares to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the reunification of its beloved, indivisible capital, Jerusalem, she was given a prophetic wake-up call, of sorts, from her presently-relevant friend to the West. The United States--an ally whose friendship with and support of Israel remains directly proportionate with her political obedience to President Bush's "vision" for a "Palestinian" state, provided a foreshadowing of things to come over the weekend by boycotting Wednesday's national celebration of the 40th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem under Israeli rule. Notice the use of the word "rule", and not "occupation"--the terminology of choice used by the global media coverage of this week's events. In so doing, America contin...

Cause of Death: Apathy
2007-05-10 23:41:00
May 10, 2007 - A 62-year old Israeli man was killed earlier this week in a town just south of Tel Aviv when his moped was struck while he attempted to pass a cement truck. In an age in which everyone is simply in a hurry to get nowhere--and fast--road fatalities are nothing new. In Israel, this incident only adds to an existing and unfavorable statistical record of traffic fatalities. However, this particular incident warrants not only a second look, but deep scrutiny as well. As the video you are about to see shows (To view, click picture), Moshe Yisraeli is seen lying on his back in the middle of the street whilst bleeding to death as a seemingly endless caravan of rush hour drivers steer their vehicles around his body not with the intention of coming to his aid and possibly saving his life, but to avoid running him over as they apathetically and pathetically continued to their destinations. It should be said that the video does indeed show multiple drivers who eventually stopped to...

Have Done with Political CAIRrectness
2007-05-10 03:06:00
May 9, 2007 - The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has reportedly applauded the FBI's efforts in thwarting a potential terrorist massacre of US troops on the Fort Dix army installation in New Jersey. Yesterday, a group of Islamic militants who've become known as the "Fort Dix Six" were arrested after a clerk at a video store became suspicious when the group of wannabe-terrorists requested that the store convert several "jihad training" tapes to DVD format. The tapes contained footage of the group firing assault weapons at a firing range whilst yelling "Allahu Akbar".In a press release distributed yesterday, CAIR--an Islamic civil rights advocacy group--stated the following: "We applaud the FBI for its efforts and repeat the American Muslim community's condemnation and repudiation of all those who would plan or carry out acts of terror while falsely claiming their actions have religious justification. We continue to urge American Muslims to be vigilant in reporting a...

M-i-c-k-e-y Jihad
2007-05-06 22:58:00
May 6, 2007 - In their unceasing efforts to facilitate a generation forged from the fires of pure, unadulterated, antisemitic hatred, the terror organization Hamas has delved further into the realm of vitriolic stupidity. Using Al-Aqsa TV--the official Hamas television station--as its mode of delivery, the terror organization is now using their own version of Mickey Mouse--a clone named "Farfur"--to disseminate its venomous progaganda campaigns for the sole purpose of facilitating a generation that feels nothing but unscathing hatred for Israel and the United States. Pathetic. Just clicky on Mickey and see for yourselves.(source: Palestinian Media Watch)

Part III: "A lie, told a thousand times, is still a lie"
2007-04-26 03:25:00
Final Installment: "Influx of Indignation" "Indeed, we are the owners of the land and the legal truth, the owners of the independent homeland and the independent state. Therefore, with you and by means of you, and by means of our noble Arab and Islamic nation, and by means of freedom-seeking people in the world, we will establish our independent Palestinian nation and its holy capital of Jerusalem." - Yasser Arafat/September, 2001 April 25, 2007 - Of all the ministers of misinformation who made their way onto the world's stage in the post-Nazi era, none other was quite as cunning, conniving and, sadly enough, effective as Yasser Arafat--the Arab's version of Joseph Goebbels. This was a man who, time and time again, would walk through the front door disguised as a "peacemaker" only to slip out the back, with his Nobel Peace Prize in tow, as a reputed mass murderer who slaughtered innocent people, including women and children. As chairman of the Palestinian Liberation Organ...

Part II: "A lie, told a thousand times, is still a lie"
2007-04-19 05:12:00
"Inveracity"April 18, 2007 - The previous installment examined the effectiveness surrounding the dissemination of anti-Semitic propaganda by a conglomeration of Arabs who would call themselves, "Palestinians". Following the model of their Nazi predecessors, the Arabs have effectively unleashed a campaign of misinformation that has been heard and seen with a high degree of frequency. In so doing, they have not only shaped public opinion, but have also been extremely effective in garnering support sympathetic to an ideology that portrays them as "refugees" who have been somehow victimized and displaced by the creation of the Jewish state. In their refusal to recognize Israel's right to exist, they claim the region as their own--delving further into the nonsensical by referring to it as "Palestine". Behold, the lie--the inveracity in your midst. And so, for the purposes of this writing, let us assume, if but for a moment, that we have the capability of "time travel" and have elected to...

"Indoctrination""Propaganda attempts to force a doctrine on the whole people. Propaganda works on the general public from the standpoint of an idea and makes them ripe for the victory of this idea." -Adolph Hitler, Mein Kampf April 16, 2007 - The vitriolically anti-Semitic propaganda campaigns disseminated by the Nazis in the 1930's, and throughout Ha'Shoah, were as effective as they were brilliant. By way of their complete domination and control of the German mass media, the Nazi propaganda machine facilitated an unprecedented and unchecked barrage of anti-Semitism that radically shaped public opinion. With Hitler's propaganda machine running at full-throttle, it wasn't long before the court of public opinion and Nazism's ministers of propaganda found themselves on the "same page". Sadly, we know how this story ends. Over the span of a decade, while millions of Jews were brutally and systematically slaughtered in the Nazi death camps of Europe, the rest o...

Part II: What is Happening in the Gaza Strip?
2007-04-10 03:31:00
"I will gather all nationsand bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgment against themconcerning my inheritance, my people Israel, for they scattered my people among the nationsand divided up my land." Joel 3:2 April 9, 2007 - Earlier last week, PA President Abbas and Hamas Prime Minister Haniyeh joined a massive Arab delegation--22 member states comprising the Arab League, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the sole purpose of reviving and activating the "Arab Peace Initiative". As it were, this "peace" proposal--dormant since 2002 because of Israeli objections to its ludicrous demands that would put the Jewish state at a decisive disadvantage, would once again promise "a normalization of relations" with what is now a much weaker and desperate Israeli government in response to Israeli's full withdrawal to its pre-1967 borders. Furthermore, the Arab Peace Initiative would require Israel to come to the bargaining table to negotiate and facilitate the in...

Part I: What is happening in the Gaza Strip?
2007-04-09 02:42:00
April 8, 2007 - There's nothing worse than a fool with a cause. It's been well over a year since terrorist thugs were seen dancing in the streets of Gaza City, indiscriminately capping off AK-47 rounds into the skies over southern Israel in celebration of their victory over the Palestinian Authority's Fatah party. The outcome of the Gaza elections in late January of 2006 represented a widely-publicized, unprecedented turn of events in which the "Palestinian" people--or should I say, the conglomeration of Arabs in Southern Israel, democratically elected and thus chose a terrorist organization, Hamas, as the governing body that would lead them to days of social, political and economic bliss. What the citizens of Gaza failed to consider--or should I say, turned a blind eye to, was the true ideology behind Hamas, and the lengths to which "the new kids on the block" were prepared to go in order to facilitate it.Fourteen months later, gone are the days in which the people of Gaza expe...

The Difference Between Love and Hate
2007-04-02 03:23:00
April 1, 2007 - Earlier today, as I perused through my email and the various news headlines of the day over morning coffee, I happened upon two news stories that, after reading them both, left me...well, they left me synergistically befuddled. You see, each of these two stories, of which you will, after reading this article, gain a better understanding, are nothing new nor surprising when read and considered independently of one another. The events and circumstances found in each, individual article could be considered, by and large, everyday occurrences in the land of Israel, as evidenced by what we see on televisions and read in newspapers. However, after reading these two headlines within seconds apart, I became confused and perplexed. You see, these two headlines, in and of themselves, tell the whole story. The first article, entitled "Hamas Threatens Israel", was one riddled with hatred, disdain, vitriol and incitement as Abu Ubaida, spokesman of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigade...

Condi, you're on the clock.
2007-03-29 00:37:00
March 28, 2007 - The sands of the hourglass are approaching a critically low level for this administration. With regards to its Middle Eastern foreign policy, there is one thing--perhaps THE only thing of which they can be certain: Time is running out, and the window of opportunity is about to shatter. That is the only explanation for the direction the Bush administration has chosen as they continue to push Israel toward her destruction under the guise of the facilitation of "peace".In the media spotlight which illuminates the region's current peace process stands one Condoleezza Rice, whose preoccupation with facilitating the elusive "two-state solution" between Israel and the "Palestinians"--an objective the Bush administration has, in the past, branded as its "cornerstone", has rapidly evolved into an obsession--one that must come to fruition regardless of the degree to which it compromises Israel's national security. Throughout history, the Middle East peace process has prove...

"We've opened the door for you."
2007-03-21 22:40:00
March 21, 2007 - This nation observed as anti-war protesters of varying stripes took to the streets over the weekend to voice their opposition to an Iraqi war that has now entered its fourth year. We are a nation, you see, that affords its citizens the inalienable rights to speak freely and assemble peacefully for the purpose of petitioning the government. This is a nation in which we are allowed to practice freely any religion we choose, or openly renounce it. People flock to the United States of America if for no other reason than to enjoy the rights and freedoms extended to each of its citizens. However, the First Amendment is quite nebulous when it comes to defining the degree to which protesters may advance their "cause". Left unchecked, a protest has the potential to reach a point where it not only loses its effectiveness, but becomes a security concern. At that point, it is no longer a "protest". It is a "mob". Of particular interest was an anti-war demonstration held ...

The Christian Zionist: Hated by the World, Blessed by God
2007-03-15 22:35:00
March 15, 2007 - "Christian Zionism": Some folks, unaware of the term's definition, never get past its pronunciation before walking the other way. "It sounds so extreme and fanatical.", they'll undoubtedly retort. The ill-informed will often ask, "What does 'Zionism' have to do with being a Christian?" The answer is quite simple, as you will soon see, and once Christians begin focusing less on the nomenclature, and more on the true, literal meaning of what it means to be a "Christian Zionist ", they will soon realize that these are a blessed group of people. They are "blessed" because they bless. They bless because they love His people, and in doing so, are hated for it. Read this article in its entirety: TheChristianZionist

School Board Requires Student Prayers to Allah; Christian Prayer Group Susp
2007-03-08 02:35:00
March 7, 2007 - Yes, the headline reads correctly, and if it were referring to a school board in Teheran, Gaza City, Riyadh or, shamefully enough, the very birthplace of our Savior, then such news would fail to garner a second thought. However, if you were seeking to find a society that targets Christian ity for extinction, whilst simultaneously propping up Islam as a religion of which we should maximize our understanding, you apparently need to look no further than the west coast of the United States of America.Last week, 12 members of a Christian, student-prayer group at Heritage High School , in Washington state, were suspended for engaging in prayer activity in the lunchroom area, before school. Some of the suspensions were of the ten-day variety. It was determined, by school administrators, that the 10-15 minute, informal prayer sessions being held in the lunchroom area were "distruptive" to the successful flow of traffic in a school with 2,200 students. Apparently, the school of...

"Even so, come, Lord Jesus."
2007-03-01 04:12:00
February 28, 2007 - The New Testament records well over 500 eyewitnesses to His Resurrection (see 1 Corinthians 15:6) during the brief time in which He was among His followers, prior to the Ascension. Yet, to this very day the ranks of the galactically-misguided will go to great lengths in their attempts to disavow, discredit, and disprove the most remarkable occurrence since the dawn of Creation. However, let a story of an alien abduction, voodoo blackmagic, the elusive Lochness Monster, or even the Lost City of Atlantis hit the wires, and these very same people and their ilk will come out of nowhere to make movies, write books and articles, and host talk shows in an effort to validate and give life to their fictitious lunacies. Whatever.
