The Writing is on the Wall
2008-04-28 19:26:00
For those watching from the wall, do you realize you're watching it unfold?I have finally come to realize where and how, the anti-christ will gain his sudden power and fame. I've also come to realize that saying 'he will come from the 7 hills' doesn't mean he had to be born there-just that the seed originated there.Just the fact that we have a man named Obama, actually setting his eyes on the Whitehouse, was enough to turn my head. Have you read the information that is beginning to circulate around the internet about this man? He is Muslim.........Thanks for sending out an alert about Obama. We are living and working in Kenya for almost twelve years now and know his family (tribe) well. They are the ones who were behind the recent Presidential election chaos here. Thousands of people have been displaced by election violence(over 350,000) and I don't know the last count of the dead. Obama under "friends of Obama" gave almost a million dollars to the opposition cam...

Why Fear Doubt?
2008-03-24 19:53:00
Our relationship with God is demonstrated through marriage and family. The Lord opened a door, for me recently, into a deeper understanding of many things. One of which is the fear of doubt. The other day, I heard yet another saying, "I've been struggling with doubt" and I blurted out this new revelation from the Lord. I thought I'd share it here. When a man choses a woman for marriage, and she accepts, that man does not yet possess her heart. It's AFTER she accepts, she will go through a trial of doubt. Every human being goes through this, whether or not they admit it.There comes a time, before the wedding when each one will wonder if they have made the right decision. "Is this truly the right thing to do?"Once these doubts are dealt with, only then do each other truly possess the other. The same with the Lord. Jesus calls us His Bride. He knows you will go through the valley of doubt and He cherishes this time in our lives. Why? Because it means that when you come to the final deci...

Christianity is not Pride
2007-11-09 06:44:00
What is Christianity ?A true explanation for those that wonder and for those that think they know.Christianity comes from the word christian, which means the same as it would if talking about where you are from. A Texan is someone from Texas.A christian is someone 'of Christ'. Meaning, they are followers of Christ. That's all the word means. To be a follower of Christ, one must totally and absolutely believe IN and ON Jesus. To believe IN Him, is to say He did exist, He did walk this earth, He was a good man. To believe ON Him, is to say He is the only truth and all of the truth. Which, of course, also means one believes everything that came out of His mouth and everything God says about Him.If you're born in Texas, you speak as a Texan, you act like a Texan, you ARE a Texan. If you are born again, in Christ, you speak as a Christian, you act like a Christian, you ARE a Christian. It's not an honor bestowed on someone, it's what you are. For others to bash and insult a Christian ...

My New E-Book
2007-08-27 07:33:00
A little off topic but I thought that anyone who enjoys my writing would also enjoy reading a true story. This is the story of my little love affair with Winnie, the unknown grand-daughter of Man O'War, the greatest of race horses. The story takes place when I was only 14, back in the 50's. I know you'll enjoy the e-book, as well as your own children and grand-children. It's a heart warming story.Judy's" new e-book is out.

Remember Johah
2007-05-01 17:12:00
Watch our for pride. Pride is (pretty much) seeing yourself or your opinions as more worthy than anothers. When we get right down to it, which of us knows which is more worthy? So you have the Bible to tell you when God is in agreement with you but how many times is your right hand doing the work of God while your left hand is an advocate of the devil? Why would God give us the story of Johah? I mean, doesn't it make God sound harsh and unfair? Was it to show us what pride does? Was it a story to demonstrate the results?God's prophets never got on their knees and begged to be made a prophet. There are things far beyond our understanding going on in the heavens. We see the results here without knowing where the beginning was. A prophet is a prophet for reasons we don't understand but not without the consent of the human himself. They can say, "I didn't ask for this" but somewhere down the line there was an agreement.Jonah knew the score, he knew God was much bigger than himself and...
You Are
2007-05-01 17:03:00
I must be the most spoiled of God's children. I say that out of reflection from an event that happened just today. For the past 4 years, I've been out there driving up and down, across and back again, every highway across this nation, this U.S.While my daughter and grandson established a new life in this small town in Arizona, I remained a stranger as I only saw home about 3 days out of each year.I've stopped that merry-go-round and home at last. I'm not much of a socialite and so it's taking time to get to know the folks at this little church, where my daughter has been attending. As I learn about the individuals, as well as the church itself, I keep finding myself sitting with a gaping mouth in wonder. It seems there is a young mother, in the church, who thinks I don't like her. It's the strangest thing that simply because I had not accompanied my daughter to help with a project at the church, this young woman thinks she somehow offended me.Seeing the puzzled look on my face,...
So Sad and yet I have to kick myself to care
2007-04-30 03:27:00
Was that blunt? I'm sorry. Didn't sound very Christian, did it. Well, what can I say?Where do people get the idea that Christianity is door mat stuff, anyway? I love the Lord with all my heart and will do anything I can to help others in need and others who want to understand Him. When I run across people who don't want to hear it, I have a REALLY hard time caring if they ever do.Both Christian and non-believers would call me on the carpet for those statements and I just plain don't care. Well, I care that it bothers them but not enough to change. That make sense? So my question in return would be, where did you get these ideas? You think I'm not living up to Jesus example? Really? Anybody ever bother to really read the stories about Jesus, the stories written by His closest friends? He spoke - they heard or didn't. Up to them. There was a good reason for that, you know.Believers would think I'm harsh and unloving. That's not true, I'm just like God in that respect. I see th...

Is The End Near?
2007-04-29 17:23:00
I've heard the arguments and it's just so much nonsense. You will hear "yeah and a thousand times before, people have said this is the last days".What's different now? Well, point blank, every prophecy fulfilled where in the past they were not.You see, people have (throughout history) thought they were following the signs and knew they were living on the last day of this world. The problem was, they were reading the wrong book, filling between the lines or just plain letting their imaginations run wild. There has never before, been a time when all that the Bible said would be in place at the last days, was actually in place until now.I am one of the first born of the last generation. Born in Jan of 1946. Israel came back into its own in 1948. The bible says the generation that sees the beginnings of these things shall also see the end. The beginning was Israel coming back into its own land and once again becoming a nation. The jews were scattered throughout the world, after the dea...

Is the Rapture Real?
2007-04-29 17:19:00
So much argument about the rapture and so silly to question it.For me, it's the most simple thing in the world and yet it seems so many, even scholars, are confused about when and how. When you stand back and look at the basics, just plain simple logic, you will see the picture clearly. The Word says the comforter must be removed before the anti-christ can come into his power. Where is the comforter? The Lord Jesus told us, in plain language that the comforter was given to us (the believer) when Jesus ascended. Until that time, the comforter abided in Jesus. The only reason the comforter has for being on this world, is to abide in the believer. So if the comforter leaves, so must we, as He is promised only to us.IF the comforter must leave before the anti-christ can come into power then we must leave also. Otherwise, there is no way for the comforter to leave at all and still keep the Lord's promise. It would seem a logical deduction to believe in the rapture, as it's the only referen...
