The big TM group in Iowa says they are behind the recent climb by the Dow. Someone might have fumbled a ball or two when it dropped but they are on it and predict the Dow will hit 17,000.They say they need 8000 thousand meditators to achieve world peace. For various reasons, it got punted at the last minute. (Story.) "Experiment in Fear ", sounds like it worked. Mr. Noory was too afraid to conduct it. This is a case of an inadvertant self-fulfilling prophecy. Footnote: Scientists can't be afraid to do research. Broadcasters can. And whatever fallout might get more attention to drive up listenership for round two.Too bad he couldn't do spoonbending. It's a bit less threatening...and fun. Now that's entertainment!I do buy it. I let the dogs out to play but had forgotten where I was and that I needed to first check to see if there were any activities going on. There were. The farmhands were transferring cattle from pens. I could not undo what I had done. The dogs were fine but now I had two gates open and the horses were coming in as the cattle straggled out. Not domestic horses, three beautiful wild foals approached me as I stood with open arms. I didn't intend to draw them to me, but to act as their protector to guide them to come into a pen to be safe from the dogs.They greet me and shower me with warm muzzle kisses. I hear fireworks and the 1812 overture....(what?) The foals are similar to young fawns. I am caught in the moment and thinking there could be no greater paradise.
