Why I Share This Stuff

I know I write about a pretty wide variety of things and some of them may sound pretty far out. Portals through which I sometimes step and others which I avoid even getting close to. A vortex that relaxed me to the point that I felt like I was melting. A higher vibrational world that was all purple. UFOs hiding in clouds. More recently, on another blog, a piece about a man who thought he could pass a spiritual test by eating poison ivy.How much stranger can it get? Well, be patient. I haven't been writing this blog very long but I've been dealing with these kinds of experiences most of my life. There have been times that if I didn't know I wasn't crazy I would have thought I was crazy.The previous line is one of the main reasons I write these things. My First Vortex Experience

Writing about the Silver Lake portal brought to mind the first time I had an encounter with an energy vortex. It happened on my first visit to Sedona and it was at Red Rock Crossing. At that particular time I didn't even know enough about Sedona to know there were vortexes around there. I went there because I had heard it was a very unique and beautiful place. Oh, and it had a lot of spiritual stuff going on. What an understatement that turned out to be.When I got to town I stopped and picked up some tourist info. Included was a mimeographed map showing the location of the rock formations. As I looked it over my eyes fell on a place adjacent to Cathedral Rock called Red Rock Crossing. Silver Lake Portal

Several years back I had a very stirring supernatural sort of experience at a place called Silver Lake . I won't go into details now but I will soon put up a post detailing what happened.Until a few says ago I hadn't been back to that particular spot. I had driven past it several times but never had felt a notion to stop. Now, suddenly I was walking again in the place. Since it was winter when I had the vision things during this summer season looked rather different but I could feel a familiar tingle and something tugging at my soul. I could even feel it physically.I recalled that back on that snowy, cold winter day I had felt almost certain there was some kind of portal to another world nearby and now I again had this thought. Productive Silence

The emptying has bottomed out. I said in a previous post that I have experienced this before but I must say that this particular time had a few surprises added. There was a definite purpose to this rather extended silent period. Several outdated concepts have been removed. Some of them were deeply ingrained from my childhood education. Others were so well hidden in my subconscious that I was startled when they were brought to the surface.The in-filling has begun now and it is progressing as the Spirit of Truth promised it would. Slow and steady. No rush...and that's for certain. I feel a good and solid anchoring has been placed to help keep my consciousness balanced as it continues to open up and expand.A new energy seems to be pouring in. It should be interesting to see what comes out in the writings. I look forward to sharing whatever I can find the words for.Goodlife.

Filled With Empty

For the last several days I've been experiencing one of those "emptied out" modes. I've had them before and somehow I'm sure I'll have them in the future. They seem to recur in a somewhat regular irregular pattern.When this happens I usually find writing to be a challenge, to say the least. It is, after all, difficult to write an article about nothing. It's not that I'm blocked. Instead, I'm blanked.How long will this last? Probably not very long. These dry spells are usually followed by a storm of words pouring forth. Why Three Blogs?

During the past few days I have been in contact with my inner guide quite a few times. Mostly I have been asking questions about some of the various things that were presented to me during my recent tromp through the woods. As I said in the previous post, a lot came through. And even more has come through since then.There has been some that I don't really understand. Well...actually, there has been a lot that I don't understand. Totally beyond me. My guide told me that that sort of knowledge I will write about at the proper time and the correct people will access it. Now that's mysterious.Also, I am getting a lot about ascension. I have been deeply involved with ascension for many years and have studied the subject extensively. In fact, it would be correct to say that the path to ascension is my specialty. A Quiet Meadow

On July 2, I visited the woods near my home. Actually, they are about a mile away. I intended to see if I might connect with a particular large pine tree there but at the last moment I took a different trail, one I had never been on, and I soon found myself on the edge of a lush green meadow.I am so glad I followed the prompting from the spirit that led me to that spot. The combination of the tall pines and the beautiful meadow was exactly the setting I needed to drain out all the persistent tiredness I had acquired during the days when the fire was burning. It was so quiet there I felt like I was on hallowed ground.The effect on my spirit was almost magical. I was so opened to the inner realms that even after almost a week I'm still sorting through the immense download of information that was poured into me on that day.

Mystery Illness

Yesterday, before I even got got out of bed, I knew something was going on. I felt out of sorts. Out of sync.After a little breakfast, as I was sitting quietly, I began feeling ill. It started out as a nauseous queasiness. At first, thinking maybe it was food related, I tried taking some gastric relief glop. No change. Over the period of the day I tried several other remedies but nothing helped. I never did actually get any worse but that sickish feeling stayed with me all day. Then, at around 5pm, it suddenly left. Just like snapping your fingers.I wonder what that was about. I am sure it was not from anything physical I did or anything I ate. That puts it into the mystical zone. I tried getting info about it in the inner realms but immediately came up against a block. The information was not available.Puzzling...and interesting.

Clear Air...Clear Eyes

Thursday morning dawned cool and clear. Clear ? I went outside and took a big sniff. No smoke. After almost four days of air quality that was unpleasant to breathe and caused burning, watery eyes the smoke was gone. I got in the car and drove to a spot where I could see across to the fire area. Surprisingly, there was no sign of smoke there either.Today, Friday, it is much the same. The fire seems on the way to being over. People are being allowed to return to their homes, or in many cases, the ash-covered lot where their home once stood. For those the return to some manner of normalcy will take awhile.The area where I live was fortunate in that we were far enough from the fire that the cinders that rained down on us were already out. There was, of course, a very real danger when the fire jumped the containment line on Tuesday that it could move closer but the firefighters regained control very quickly. Peering Through The Smoke

No matter where one lives, no matter how perfect a place may appear, there is always something that you'd just rather not have to deal with. Always some something that mars what would otherwise be a utopia.In some places it's tornadoes. I lived in Denton, Texas for a few years and I can attest that tornadoes are terribly unnerving. Especially when they come during the night time when you can't see them but you can hear them.I was born and raised in Houston and went through several hurricanes. I never thought too much about them but after what happened to New Orleans I now have a real respect for them.Other locations have floods, or dust storms, or danger from volcanic activity. So you see, it's always something.I currently live in a place that offers not one but two big challenges to a person's continuing sanity. One is earthquakes. A Purple Place

As the mist thinned and parted I found myself in a most unusual place. Quite alien in appearance compared to what I was used to on earth.Everything was various shades of purple. The sky was of a beautiful, light lavender hue. I couldn't see any sun but I would have to assume it was some variation of purple.The vegetation was...you guessed it...purple. The roots of the trees and other plants were all above ground. My guide told me that their nourishment comes from the light so therefore the roots stay in the open to help absorb it. Only very special and strong anchoring roots plunge deep into the soil for the tree's stability. It appeared as though the trees were just standing erect on their roots. Very strange looking.My guide told me that this was a very special place where beings come to study spirituality in a most unusual manner. Ascension Discomforts

As I indicated in the previous post, "So Many Things," there are times during the ongoing move up in frequency when things can get somewhat uncomfortable for the physical body. At the time I wrote that post I was at that very moment experiencing a "real-time" bout of what I call "ascension discomfort." I'm pleased to report that things have smoothed out now, as I knew they would.There may be some writers who feel I shouldn't be talking about this discomfort part of ascension because it might scare people. It's my belief that withholding this kind of information is a disservice. If people know up front that they may experience physical and even mental stresses during the upcoming shift they are more likely to try and relax a bit and not make things worse for themselves by getting overwrought and panicking.For most there may be only slight twinges of unusual pains here and there or there may be certain foods that you have always eaten that suddenly begin to cause digestive disrupti...

So Many Things

There are so many things happening now. Energy wise the positive is increasing. This, of course, brings about changes in the physical body. Although it is really quite slow there are times when I feel like I'm barely hanging on to a runaway freight train. Symptom-wise, one moment I'll feel feverish but immediately that departs and I'll be a little short of breath. That passes and a pain will appear, only to move to another area, and then another. I can't take any kind of medicine for this because it is too varied and changeable.All I can do is make the best of the discomforts. It's not that difficult, for I have had glimpses of the finish line...New Earth.

Vibrational Increases

During the past couple of weeks I have felt some more subtle changes. Both in my physical body and even in my inner bodies. I have also sensed some slight changes in Mother Earth.There is no doubt that the Ascension or Great Shift, whatever you wish to call it, is progressing. Slowly but surely.There have been some who wish this event to happen quickly so as to get it over with but believe me, slow is necessary at this time. Even with the slowness of the shift there are sure to be some disruptions. Both in body and in the earth. Fear not, after a certain point is reached the pace will quicken dramatically.Just relax and let it happen.

You Channeled What?

Since the previous post was about channeling I decided to go ahead and continue on a bit regarding that subject.Now...while I am seriously involved in spiritual work I try to constantly maintain a sense of joy. So much so that at times I have been accused of not taking the things of spirit seriously. As you might guess those accusers are people whose facial expression indicates they probably drink pickle juice and lemon for breakfast.For me, channeling is a wonderful experience. I have learned some truly extraordinary things from some of the entities I've been in contact with. I've felt a depth of love from them for humanity that is beyond description.And, time after time, I have felt that extreme joy literally bubbling forth from them. Yes...I Channel

I have been a conscious channel for quite a number of years. It came about quite naturally as a result of my close and constant contact with the spirit realms. We all can and do channel at times but for many of us any information that comes forth is heavily stained with our own attitudes and opinions. When I realized I had this channeling ability and could incorporate it in my writing I determined to work at being as wide open and clear as I could possibly become. Even now I still remain committed to those intentions.Admitting that I am a channel and openly utilizing it has not necessarily been an easy road to travel. Sudden Realization

There's so much to study. So much to learn. To experience. Although I really try to understand things, there are many times I just don't get it. Sometimes it's so bad that I don't even know I have missed something important. Other times I'll be studying a book and come across information that I immediately know is important for me to grasp but try as I may it eludes me.But anything that is truly crucial for me to know has a way of eventually coming to me. I believe that many times I don't understand something because it's just not time for it to fit into the puzzle of my life yet. Ah, but when the proper moment arrives ... I may be reading something or someone may say something and ... zap ... the memory comes forth and sudden realization dawns. I can almost hear a click as that piece of the puzzle snaps into it's proper place.

Hearing The Unheard

It may not make a lot of sense but it is a thing that happens often. I hear something but there is nothing evident that could make any sound. At least not in the narrow viewpoint that most of us have been taught concerning this physical world. And certainly not in the even narrower viewpoint of some of the religions.There are many varied sounds in the realms of the supernatural. Sometimes called the Music of the Spheres, it is a marvelous hearing experience. Kind of a heavenly symphony from God. At other times, a single sound may only be evident. The note of a flute. The tingling of a bell or sometimes many bells. The roaring of waves breaking on a beach. Even thunder. In many instances, if a person is in meditation, the sound heard can give a clue as to what plane or level is being visited. Your personal guide can supply that information if you ask. The title of this blog, A Door Stands Open, comes basically from Rev. 4:1 which says, "After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven!"Even today, that door is still open. Not only to one heaven but to all the countless realms, realities, dimensions, and other worlds. Not only open to one apostle but to all who have a love filled heart and will dare to enter. All you have to do to begin living a life of adventure beyond your wildest dreams is to tell your angelic guide that you want to learn about and explore the unseen worlds. Then, when the time comes, boldly step through that door and see what all God has really created. You'll be amazed and possibly shocked, but above all you will be blessed with the knowledge that life is forever and is so varied that it can never become boring, for there is always another level to ascend to and master. Backwards Water

I was driving west along a state highway in northern California. Just kind of staying alert enough to keep the car aimed in the right direction. A Weird Cloud...Or Not

There are strange looking clouds around these mountains. Some of them aren't really clouds. Really...they aren't. Cloud s can be a convenient way to cloak UFOs. If you study cloud formations you get to where you can tell if there's something in one of them besides just water vapor. They tend to take on the general shape of the UFO and here's the clincher...they don't follow the pattern of how clouds move. Sure, sometimes you can have more than one layer of clouds and each layer will be moving in a slightly different direction, but when you see a cloud do a U-turn or suddenly change altitudes or zigzag...it's got an intelligence navigating it.There is an additional factor here. A third cloud manifestation that seems more like a living entity. I know this sounds strange (as if UFOs hiding in clouds doesn't) but I've been quite close a few of these and I've sensed a definite aliveness about them. They seem benevolent. I Wonder What That Was

I saw things right on the edge of my vision. It happened a lot. If I put my attention directly on whatever it was, then it wasn't there. Fleeting little things...that's for sure. I used to think my eyes were playing tricks on me but I knew they were not.I discovered if I resisted trying to get these entities directly into the center of my vision they didn't scamper away. It's a real trick to learn to look at something while seemingly not looking at it.I finally began figuring out what was going on when, one day, I saw something and quickly shifted my vision to it only to find it was still in my peripheral sight. I repeated this about three times with the same results, except that after the third time I heard some faint giggling. The spiritual path I've followed over many years has been full of twists and turns. It has taken me through forlorn, dismal valleys on up into dizzying vistas flooded with the light of the Divine. So far its been quite a trip.I have studied and worked actively with many metaphysical teachings. Some of my experiences may seem unbelievable but all I can say is that they happened...and they continue to happen.I have acquired a ton of notes relating to all those adventures. In this journal, I will post current thoughts and happenings along with many of the older notes from times past. Since this is a journal, some of the entries may be quite short and others rather long.As for subject matter...I can only say there will be a rather wide variety.
