Until today I was using the RS-Disc uss forum. I’ve decided to uninstall and give the Simple Forum a try. My reasons to change: user registration necessary to post on rs-discuss table format within forum page not aligned I struggled a little to get “Simple Forum” up and running. This is probalby due to my use of the latest WordPress 2.2 update. Nevertheless, after a little of playing around, I finally got it up and running. SEO, Google keeps track of the Age of a domain

Besides the number of “Backlinks” a Site has and the quality of the content of the Site, another important factor in Google Page Ranking is the domain age. The older a domain is, the more points this will add to global page ranking. I can’t exactly say how much this adds to the global page ranking ratio, but, after having had a look at Secret is Out - How Google Ranks Websites, I figured that ther is a certain importance to domain age. Curious, I typed my domain name, and got surprised by the results: My_Blog Website is already 3 years and 7 months old!! I didn’t remember that. And since I haven’t been to much into Website design and/or Website Promotion until less than 6 months ago, this domain age hasn’t helped much for my page ranking for now.
