Quality Content Pays Off
2007-03-09 23:46:01 Quality content that I write on blog posts seemed to pay off. I mentioned that quality will attract readers and by doing so it has. When it comes to writing these posts, I don’t concentrate on quantity unless I put in quality along with it. For example, two bloggers noticed the quality posts on my site and acknowledged it on their sites. My freind Walt, wrote a review of DesiNotes without me asking him to. I returned the favor with a quality review of his site, Welcome to the Nation, WaltNation. Another great blog review was done by Zaib Kaleem on his site and he noticed the effort I put in reviewing his site and so he acknowledged it. Sunny of DesiNotes.com responded with a very well written review of my blog. I have a goal of reaching 1000 quality blog posts before the beginning of summer. Weather I can reach that or not depends on the amount of time I put in. No one wants crappy posts to read otherwise I would’ve written about a thousand posts by now. Howev... Reduce Out-Bound Link and Increase Profits
2007-03-08 23:45:02 Here is a strong fact, if you give a person the option of 10 doors to go through then there is a great possibility that he or she will go through it. The same concept applys to the links on your site. If you have numerous out-bound links to other sites that chances of your visitors staying on your site is very slim. As a webmaster you want your visitors to stay on your site as long as possible. The more they surf the more money you can make from AdSense or other forms of ads. If your page has nothing but out-bound links then you don’t really have much of a page. If your site doesn’t have much content then you’re not only depriving yourself of making money but you are also lowering the quality of your site. The longer your visitor stays on your site the better the chance you’ll have of getting more clicks from them or impressions for generating income for you. So, do you best to only have links that lead to pages on your site and not to other sites. ... More About: Profit , Link , Prof , Reduce , Profits
Who is Copying your Content
2007-03-08 23:45:02 Content copying is a big NO for people who are loyal to Google. Google will literally ban any site that copies content from other sites from their search results. Even though you can do this with Google search, I suggest you try it with another resource. Copy Scape gives you the ability to match your site’s content with the content of different other sites. All you do is just enter your site’s URL in the search box and CopyScape’s engine will search the web to see if any content is duplicated. If any content is duplicated then you can report it to Google, which I don’t think will be necessary, since Google advanced search engine bans sites automatically for copying content. However, just try CopyScape to see if your content is being copied. Bookmark to: More About: Your , Content , Tent
Welcome to the Nation, WaltNation
2007-03-08 23:45:02 I would say out of every 10 blogs that are created 1-2 blogs actually contain content that are useful, but then again I could be wrong. However, I’m not wrong and I am 100% certain about the great quality content of WaltNation .com. This blog was created by one of my freinds, Walt, not too long ago. He used work with me at Macy’s when I used to work there, and there we always talked about various subjects. I noticed he had alot to say in personal development and other things in various subjects so I suggested to him to blog. He considered the idea of blogging and created WaltNation.com. So far his blog is coming along very nicely. His blog posts are very informative and well written. The way he writes his posts shows his passion and knowledge of what he’s talking about. If you read his posts and you think about it you’ll notice that it’s all true. His posts are a bit longer than my posts but it’s worth reading what he has to say. One of h... How to Present a Good Speech
2007-03-08 23:45:02 In high school I used to be in JROTC (Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps), of the Army branch. JRTOC is a military program to give high schoolers a way to experince military training and help them be better people. The whole goal of the program is to “motivate young people to become better citizens”; the quote, the JROTC motto, speaks for itself and it’s true. It taught me alot and prepared me to be a better person in college. While I was in the program it helped me in public presentations and conduct myself in a formal matter in appropriate times, which got me along way. I now know how to dress and what do and what not to do while giving a speech, and how to behave with elders in formal gathrings, etc. These are few things that I learned while I was in the Corps. 1) In a formal party, if you want to introduce two people, you bring the younger one to the older one and introduce them. 2) When shaking a gentleman’s hand, you firmly yet gently shake and... How To Get Good Grades in College
2007-03-05 11:42:02 In all of my years of college I have figured out that it’s not that hard to get good grades in college. Each type of classs you take depends on how you study and prepare yourself for tests, presentations, and essays. Chemistry (General Chemistry, Organic Chmeistry, etc.) and Physics Chemistry is very hard to understand for most students but if you take the time and sit down then it’s not that hard at all. Upper level of chemistry such as Organic Chemistry takes nothing but practice of problems over and over again to fully comprehend the concept to do well in tests. Physics requires the same method to succeed in its field. Math Like Chemistry an Physics, various Math classes require the work of practice problems to be done over and over again. Practice makes perfect as it’s said; and with enough practice in math one can improve his or her skills in the subject. English, History, Social Studies In English, History, and Social Studies classes writing essays ca... More About: How To , College , Grades , Ades , Good
Success is So Sweet!
2007-03-05 05:41:01 Currently on Technorati DesiNotes is ranked to be 46,969. A while back, on a previous post, Technorati Likes My Blog, after I reached my goal of being in the top 100,000 I set a new goal of being in the top 50,000, and now I have reached that goal. My next goal with Technorati is to make this site to be in the top 50,000 rank. By creating unique content and slowly gaining rank I have a good reputation with Google and that?s why Google?s bot is always on my site right away each time I update it. As more and more sites link to this site I am increasing the authority of DesiNotes on the web. My new goal is to be in the top 10,000. I’m not jumping the gun to be in a higher position because as the rank of a site increases so does the competition; therefore, I’m taking it slow to raise my position. So, let’s see if I can make it to the top 10,000; hopefully I can reach it soon. Bookmark to: More About: Success , Sweet

Taking Blogging a Bit Further
2007-03-04 11:39:05 Blogging is a great way to keep a site updated time after time. In the blogsphere and elsewhere on the web readers want uniqueness and originality. Uniqueness and rare materials are highly desired on the web and as bloggers we want a piece of it. For those who visit this site often, you know that I love writing and I love expressing my thoughts and ideas in words for others to read. I offer my readers quality content that I think could be useful to some, if not others. My freind Walt from WaltNation.com was on the phone with me and we discussed promoting blogs and online content. He suggested a great idea, that you can blog a book online to bring readers coming back often and to increase the quality of your site. Since I love writing I thought perhaps I could share an original story or some kind of book-like format content. By writing a story I can unveil each chapter as a post, even though a single post as a chapter may be long. By doing so, if my readers are into the sto... Help Each Other Once in a While
2007-03-03 23:38:06 I often get emails from bloggers who just started blogging to help them promote their blogs on the web. I have yet to reject anyone who asked help from me. They ask simple things such as how to do this or how to do that and I direct them to a post I have written, if not that then I just give them straight up advice in the email. I know how it was for me when I started to create content, I didn’t know who to turn to. People like Darren Rowse of ProBlogger.net helped me alot by motivating me and giving me tips. Other bloggers didn’t quite give me time to talk like Steve Pavlina, he just directed me to one of his posts, which is still appreciated since he took the time to reply. My goal is to help anyone from a lower level of experience to reach the level of experience that I’m currently in. I know how it feels to begin from scratch on the web so I do my best to contribute as much as I can to help others prolifirate their voice on the web. If you did some... ZaibKaleem.com: Exchange Blog Reviews Instead of Links
2007-03-03 23:38:06 Zaib Kaleem decided to exchange reviews instead of links to increase the back links of his site from various other blogs. I think it’s a great idea instead of going one direction with one blog reviewing another one without the other one reviewing back. I think this method helps each blog’s quality to boost. He got the idea from John Chow when John himself offered link backs to blogs that reviewed his site for free. Currently JohnChow.com has gotten over 200 reviews with his review offer. ZaibKaleem.com Review ed This blog looks very promising with it’s detailed and organized content in mobile technology. Zaib is a Senior Wireless Security Engineer at AirDefense, Inc. therefore he has alot of credibility on what he talks about because of the expereinces he has in his field. I’m a history major so I write alot of essays so I have to be articulate in writing. In Ziab’s content I see very good diction and it just sucks me in in his flow of content to re... Master the Game Regardless of the Money
More articles from this author:2007-03-02 11:37:01 In all fields of life everything is like game. In every type of businesses such as real estate, or web sites, or anything of that sort is nothing but a game for the participants competing to master. In every fields of business those who have a passion for making money will be expected to fail or not do so well because money is all they care about. Those who have a passion to do the business because they love to do it regardless of money will do a better job and they will be expected to succeed. Why is that? The reason is plain and very simple. If you were to have a business and money is the only motivation for your business then your motivation will go down if someday you don’t earn as much as other days. For example, if you earned $400 in profits in one day and you increased a little from that every consecutive day and then on an upcoming saturday you somehow earned $100 in profits then you may feel down since you didn’t earn as much as before. However, if you ... More About: Money , Game , The Game , Master , Less 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 |
