Quality Content Pays Off

Quality content that I write on blog posts seemed to pay off. I mentioned that quality will attract readers and by doing so it has. When it comes to writing these posts, I don’t concentrate on quantity unless I put in quality along with it. For example, two bloggers noticed the quality posts on my site and acknowledged it on their sites. My freind Walt, wrote a review of DesiNotes without me asking him to. I returned the favor with a quality review of his site, Welcome to the Nation, WaltNation. Another great blog review was done by Zaib Kaleem on his site and he noticed the effort I put in reviewing his site and so he acknowledged it. As a webmaster you want your visitors to stay on your site as long as possible. The more they surf the more money you can make from AdSense or other forms of ads. If your page has nothing but out-bound links then you don’t really have much of a page. If your site doesn’t have much content then you’re not only depriving yourself of making money but you are also lowering the quality of your site. Content copying is a big NO for people who are loyal to Google. Google will literally ban any site that copies content from other sites from their search results. Even though you can do this with Google search, I suggest you try it with another resource. Copy Scape gives you the ability to match your site’s content with the content of different other sites. All you do is just enter your site’s URL in the search box and CopyScape’s engine will search the web to see if any content is duplicated. If any content is duplicated then you can report it to Google, which I don’t think will be necessary, since Google advanced search engine bans sites automatically for copying content. I would say out of every 10 blogs that are created 1-2 blogs actually contain content that are useful, but then again I could be wrong. However, I’m not wrong and I am 100% certain about the great quality content of WaltNation .com. This blog was created by one of my freinds, Walt, not too long ago. He used work with me at Macy’s when I used to work there, and there we always talked about various subjects. In high school I used to be in JROTC (Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps), of the Army branch. JRTOC is a military program to give high schoolers a way to experince military training and help them be better people. Currently on Technorati DesiNotes is ranked to be 46,969. A while back, on a previous post, Technorati Likes My Blog, after I reached my goal of being in the top 100,000 I set a new goal of being in the top 50,000, and now I have reached that goal. My next goal with Technorati is to make this site to be in the top 50,000 rank. By creating unique content and slowly gaining rank I have a good reputation with Google and that?s why Google?s bot is always on my site right away each time I update it. As more and more sites link to this site I am increasing the authority of DesiNotes on the web. My new goal is to be in the top 10,000. I’m not jumping the gun to be in a higher position because as the rank of a site increases so does the competition; therefore, I’m taking it slow to raise my position. I often get emails from bloggers who just started blogging to help them promote their blogs on the web. I have yet to reject anyone who asked help from me. They ask simple things such as how to do this or how to do that and I direct them to a post I have written, if not that then I just give them straight up advice in the email. I know how it was for me when I started to create content, I didn’t know who to turn to. People like Darren Rowse of ProBlogger.net helped me alot by motivating me and giving me tips.
