Keeping Up with Page Rank

I was checking my Page Rank recently and I found that DesiNotes.com has gained a PR 3. I was very surprised to see that. DesiNotes.com just started gaining momentum about 2-3 months ago, and it already gained a significant rank with Google. If I continue what I’m doing then I will surely reach the same level of the big boys. All I do is write quality posts constantly and I guess people like them and they are linking to back to them without me asking for them to. As a reminder, Page Rank (PR) is a system that Google created where the more backlinks, as in non-reciprocal links, you have to your site the higher your page rank will be. I found this useful PR checker and prediction tool. It tells you what your site’s current PR is and what PR your site may reach if it continues to get backlinks at the current rate. When I first started out blogging I found some bloggers with multiple blogs. I read articles of some people who have from 1-48 blogs. I started out with 2 blogs and I wanted to make it the best blog in it’s field. Unfortunately it was hard to keep up wih two blogs and one blog ended up not being updated frequently. I had AdSense-Nation.com before because I love talking about my experience with AdSense; by doing so DesiNotes.com died out. As time passed I wanted to talk about other different topics and I was tired of talking about AdSense all the time. That lead me to close down AdSense-Nation.com and re-open DesiNotes.com As you can see from this site, DesiNotes.com, I write about topics that span in various subjects. I noticed a huge improvement in hits and responses when I concentrated my time and energy in one blog than multiple blogs. I’m not a fan of Digg .com but I do go there sometimes to see some unique news. I decided to try something to see the response I get from Digg on a blog post I wrote previously, The Crrruption of the Arabs. Right after I posted my post on Digg.com I got a heavy response of readers. One thing that’s bad about Digg users is that they will not help you in your AdSense clicks. Digg users are not a good target to generate revenue from AdSense; they just won’t click. They will stay on your site for a short while and then they will leave. Credit Union s are type of banks where their only goal is to help their members. Conventional banks, like Bank of America, Wachovia, etc. only want to make money, but credit unions don’t. Credit unions’ only goal is to help their members financially. I’m part of the Retail Employess Credit Union and I have been with them for about 5 years. Credit unions are great for mortgages for homes and loans for cars. They will give you the lowest possible interest rates, alot lower than conventional banks. They will help you all the way to finance your home or your car. Credit Unions are just like regular banks. They provide checking and savings accounts; they provide check cards, credit cards, check books, etc. So, if you’re planning to get a loan but you’re uneasy with the interest rates, then open an account with a credit union. The T-Mobile Dash or the HTC S620 is one of the latest phones from T-Mobile . My friend got this phone not too long ago and she loves it. I took a look at it and I found this phone perfect for me. Currently I have the Motorola RAZR v3x and it’s not cutting out for me. What’s so good about this phone is that it can pick up available free Wi-Fi signal automatically so you can surf the net. The bad thing about this phone is the price. I looked up the MSRP price and it’s $549.99. However, with T-Mobile, it’s available for $349.99. On this page take a look on the right side. There is a row of pictures linking to different people’s profiles on a site called, MyBlogLog.com. This item on my sidebar is the MyBlogLog widget. This little widget is a incredible tool to gain blog traffic. The way it works is sites with the widget installed will show the pics of the people who visited your blog. Only the people who are registered with MyBlogLog will have their picture show up on sites that have the widget installed, like mine. MyBlogLog is a network of bloggers and blogging communities. For those who installed the widget, you know it’s a temptation to visit the blogs of the people who visited your blog. The initial creators have done a great job setting this network up. I was moving and settling to my new apartment so I couldn’t blog as much. But that’s over now so I will be able to blog regularly. One of my visitors recently reviewed my blog. His site, Successful Onine Money Making, shows a small review of what this site is all about. By reviewing my blog he asked me to link back to his site in return, and I did. By looking at it he did not really go into depth with reviewing my site; the review was very brief. I don’t think too many people would be interested in my site since his review is so brief. There is more to my blog than what he wrote; however, he still gave a positive review of this site and I appreciated that. Matt, the reviewer, is actually doing a good job reviewing different blogs. This is something you don’t see everyday. Cana da has proved to be understanding, liberal, and tolerant to their Muslim citizens. American citizens would have heart attacks if Muslims had their own TV show but in Canada it’s the opposite. The video below is a show in Canada called, “Little Mosque on the Prarie” and it is a well directed and funny show. The show reflects how the Muslims are in a small town called Mercy in Canada. Western society has exploited women to be nothing other than a being for ownership. A woman is under constant pressure in western society to make herself suffer to loose fat and have a bigger bus size to be attractive. Women are the only cause to keeping families together. When the main female, the mother, is absent in a family, the family seems to fall apart. For example in Bangladesh, in the Grameen Bank, 97% of their 7 million clients are women. The only way to gain credibility from your blog is basically to get popular by getting more and more other blogs and other sites to link to your blog. If you have a good deal of expereince in a certain field then you have credbility to write about that experience. I wrote alot of posts on AdSense because I have alot of expereince working with it. Now, there are many sites that link to my AdSense posts due to the fact that I have gained crediblity. DesiNotes.com As of 01/12/07, Technorati has ranked this site to be 70,311 in its listing. DesiNotes.com is slowly getting ranked up and I’m very pleased at its success. Due to my rising crediblity I have gained a higher rank more and more. I recently got an e-mail from another blogger asking me to write an article on the formation of this site; I accepted it. AdSense is a great thing to play around with. I signed up with Jonathan Leger’s AdSense Gold for $97 and I’m glad I did. I have a full access of high-paying keywords that are as high as $80/click. The list is over 10 pages and it gets updated often. The ancient highest paying keywords “Mesothelioma” which the world found out about and so it’s no longer a “high-paying keyword” like before. I checked the list recently, since I have a lifetime account, and most of the highest-paying keyword deals with legal matters. The easiest way to test out these high-paying keywords is to have a high traffic blog and to write articles that mention these keywords often. Starz Entertainment released a new onine service, named Vongo, where you can download unlimited movies from their library for online $9.99. The videos come in Windows Media Player format for unlimited views. So far they have 800 movies but Starz is planning to add thousands of other programs and more movies. Don’t dump Blockbuster or NetFlix yet, the negative side about this is, even though it gives unlimited access, some movies are Pay-Per-View; ranging from $2.99 to $3.99. I signed up for the 14-day trial and so far I downloaded Underworld Evolution, Monsoon Wedding, and more. The videos are very clear and I can’t distinguish the quality from DVD quality so, it’s good. The Pay-Per-View is what really pissed me off. I’m paying for the service anyways so why should I pay more for certain movies. Another negative side to this is there is no support for iPod sharing. After 4 months of work on this blog, I finally made it to Tech no rati’s top 100,000 sites. As of January 2nd, 2007 this site, DesiNotes.com, is ranked 98,082. Before it used to be 1,400,000+ but now it increased in rank. Technorati ranks each blog based on how many other blogs link to it. I used Blog Carnival.com to get other blogs link to certain posts on my site that relate to their blogs. Another method of getting my blog to be exposed to other bloggers is using the member surf on BlogExplosion.com. This works by surfing members’ blogs and getting credit for doing so and in return you can use those credits to get hits to your blog by other members. While surfing other blogs I commented on certain posts which is favored by the blog owners so, they’ll actually come visit my blog. By getting more and more sites linking to mine I will be increasing my rank. With a high rank Technorati will be marketing for me which will get me alot of hits leading to more ...

My idiotic friends decided to play a prank on me. They got one of their freind, Shahan, who I don’t know and who I never seen before to act like a robber. One of my close freind, Joynul who was walking next to me, wanted to see my iPod so, I let him. Then all of a sudden out of no where came Shahan and said “give me that shit” and took my iPod from Joynul’s hand and ran. I wasn’t going to let anyone go with my $240 iPod so I went chasing after the guy. My freind Joynul got scared and started to run toward’s us when I got Shahan on the ground and I was beginning to kick him.
