What God Knows: Time and the Question of Divine Knowledge
2008-01-05 07:58:00
Harry Lee Poe, J. Stanley Mattson, What God Knows: Time and the Question of Divine Knowledge Baylor University Press | ISBN 1932792120 | 2006 | PDF | 1 MB | 226 pagesWhen Einstein destroyed the old view of the universe, he destroyed the old notion of time with it. His new theory explained that time is a dimension of the physical cosmos like space, and like space it is relative. This collection of essays by theologians, physicists, and philosophers explores the theoretical aspects of the problem of time and its implications for faith and the understanding of God. downloadrapidshare.commirroreasy-share.co m
The Myth of Morality (Cambridge Studies in Philosophy)
2008-01-05 07:58:00
The Myth of Morality (Cambridge Studies in Philosophy )Cambridge University Press | ISBN 0521036259 | 2007-04-23 | PDF | 263 pages | 777 KBRichard Joyce argues in this study that moral discourse is hopelessly flawed. At the heart of ordinary moral judgments is a notion of moral inescapability, or practical authority, which, upon investigation, cannot be reasonably defended. He asserts, moreover, that natural selection is to blame, in that it has provided us with a tendency to invest the world with values that it does not contain, and demands that it does not make. This original and innovative book will appeal to readers interested in the problems of moral philosophy. downloadrapidshare.com
Tracking the Meaning of Life: A Philosophical Journey
2008-01-05 07:58:00
Yuval Lurie, Tracking the Meaning of Life : A Philosophical Journey University of Missouri Press | ISBN 0826216528 | 2006 | PDF | 2 MB | 338 pagesThis book relates a philosophical journey undertaken by the author in the hope of resolving certain concerns about his life that manifested themselves as quandaries about the meaning of life. Being concerned with my life and finding myself also perplexed by the question about the meaning of life, I turned first to see what other philosophers had to say about the question. This move turned in time into a lengthy philosophical journey that has extended over various regions of thought, a journey, in which, as may be seen, I track an extensive philosophical effort to deal with the question about the meaning of life. downloadrapidshare.comorw14.easy-share.co m
Increasing Search Engine Ranks
2008-01-05 07:58:00
Short after I wrote about improving SEO for yahoo, I found additional tips that will works for any Search Engine including Yahoo. The optimization will be applied on robot.txt file located in your root directory. For you who didn’t know what is robot.txt I will give short description. The robots.txt is a simple text file used to tell search engine bots which pages on your web site should be crawled and indexed. By regulating their behavior of how indexing the website/blog, we can increase our site’s position on Search Engine result. Irrelevant pages on your blog could be excluded from search engine index and therefore only relevant pages will included on their indexed. You only need to add several lines on your robot.txt file. If you couldn’t find this file on root folder, simply create one and save it on your server. I found a ready made robot.txt from AskApache and applied it here and on Gadget Blog as well. The codes are as following.User-agent: *Disallow: /cgi-...

Analytic Philosophy and History of Philosophy
2008-01-05 07:58:00
Tom Sorell, G. A. J. Rogers, Anal ytic Philosophy and History of PhilosophyOxford University Press | ISBN 0199278997 | 2005 | PDF | 0.7 MB | 240 pagesPhilosophy written in English is overwhelmingly analytic philosophy, and the techniques and predilections of analytic philosophy are not only unhistorical but anti-historical, and hostile to textual commentary. Analytic usually aspires to a very high degree of clarity and precision of formulation and argument, and it often seeks to be informed by, and consistent with, current natural science. In an earlier era, analytic philosophy aimed at agreement with ordinary linguistic intuitions or common sense beliefs, or both. All of these aspects of the subject sit uneasily with the use of historical texts for philosophical illumination. How, then, can substantial history of philosophy find a place in analytic philosophy? If history of philosophy includes the respectful, intelligent use of writings from the past to address problems that are bein...

George Pattison, Thinking about God in an Age of Technology Oxford University Press | ISBN 0199279772 | 2005 | PDF | 1 MB | 288 pagesTaking up the critique of theology found in the work of Heidegger, George Pattison argues for a model of thinking about God that would not be liable to the charge of `enframing’ that Heidegger sees as characteristic of technological thinking. He constructs his case in relation to particular issues in bioethics, the place of theology in the university, the arts, and the contemporary experience of living in the city. downloadrapidshare.com

The Female Pelvic Floor
2008-01-04 11:03:00
The Integral Theory of Pelvic Floor Dysfunction brings a new perspective to the management of dysfunction in the female pelvic floor. It emphasises the role of the connective tissue of the vagina and its supporting ligaments in both function and dysfunction. The surgical approach deriving from the Integral Theory is minimally invasive, yet it addresses a large spectrum of pelvic floor dysfunction in the female - urinary and faecal, as well as prolapse and some types of pelvic pain. It presents some new concepts and realigns much existing knowledge on bladder and bowel dysfunction, especially in anatomy, biomechanics and urodynamics. The Integral Theory views normal pelvic floor function as a balanced, interrelated system composed of muscle, connective tissue (CT) and nerve components, with connective tissue being the mostvulnerable damage. In summary, the Integral Theory may be stated thus:Symptoms of stress, urge, and abnormal emptying mainly derive, for different reasons, from laxit...

Understanding the immune system how it works The immune system is a network ofcells, tissues*, and organs that worktogether to defend the body against attacksby “foreign” invaders. These are primarilymicrobes(germs)—tiny, infection-causingorganismssuch as bacteria, viruses, parasites, and fungi. Because the humanbody provides an ideal environment formany microbes, they try to break in. It isthe immune system’s job to keep them outor, failing that, to seek out and destroy them.
