2008-01-24 19:21:00 It happens often when someone is bilingual or multilingual to mix up languages.It happens to me when I have to speak a lot of languages one after another in a very short period of time.For example, if I speak to someone in English, and someone comes and don't speak English, I have to speak with him in his language, then, someone else comes and I have to speak with him in another language ... in a short period of time, I have spoken three different languages. Back in the U.S., I taught high school French for 8 years, did a few translations on the side when people asked me, and earned an M.A. in French from Boston College. After relocating to Colorado and having a child, I wanted to find a career that would allow me to use French and work from home, so I decided to try to make a go as a professional translator.
