Only had two weeks, broken belts twice This vacuum does have great suction power for the price. It is also very lightweight. However, I have some beefs. It seems to really blow the dirt around in front of it before it picks it up. Two out of three uses the belt has broken. That is really annoying. Also the hose does not stay plugged into the socket. And I don't like the way that you have to wrap the cord over the hose in the back. I don't know, maybe I got a defective model but I don't think I would ever buy this again. Love my Roomba!The path is random, so it's not perfect but i tell you on hardwood and tile floors this robot is the bomb-diggity. It cleans under the bed, under the couch and gets most places that are a real pain for me to get. If you run it daily you have to sweep much less often. I used to have to sweep every other day the entire house before i got the Roomba. I have this older model, and it does get stuck on socks, cat toys, and bathmats etc (the new models are supposed to be better about that), but he(Roomba we call him sparky) makes an alarm noise like 'uh oh' so you know to free him if you're home. My battery died after only a couple of years, and i have yet to procure a replacement but since it stopped being used Dust Buffalos (bigger than bunnies) have taken over my household, building up under couches and beds. I thought about how big a mess would you have to have that would take more than six minutes and concluded that such a mess would require a full size vacuum. So I bought this machine.I have never owned a battery powered hand held vacuum before. However, I do own two wired hand held machines that are essentially toys. They have poor vacuum and even poorer attachments. The Dyson does not have these problems.
