The Exam inations scheduled on this two days are rescheduled and will be conducted by the Univ ersity on 15 th and 18 th June 2007 respectively at the respective Centres. The expenditure incurred as on 31st March 2007 for this purpose is:- Rs. 116.89 croes for the Northern Region, Rs. 3.9 crores for the Eastern Region, Rs. 58.33 crores for the North-Eastern Region, Rs. 80.32 crores for the Western Region and Rs. 101.87 crores for the Southern Region. This information was given by Shri Praful Patel, Minister for Civil Aviation in the Lok Sabha today. However, Micro Enterprises topic is turning out to be one of three specific areas, where a managerial revolution is brewing up. "A separate national institute for micro enterprise managment should be set up. 2007-05-01 03:51:00 Barely a day after a Jaipur resident filed a police complaint against actress and TV anchor Mandira Bedi for allegedly showing disrespect to the national flag, another complaint was filed on the same grounds against her in a court in in the South Indian city of Kozhikode on Monday. Pushparaj, hailing from Koyilandy near here, moved the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court seeking action against Bedi for reportedly wearing a sari while hosting a show on a TV channel during the World Cup final that had the national flags of the 16 participating nations printed in it. According to the complainant, 'India's flag, however, was placed near her knees' which allegedly violated the Flag Code. A geographical indication (GI) is a sign used on goods that have a specific geographical origin and possess qualities or a reputation due to the particular place of origin. India passed the Geographical Indications of Goods (Registration and protection) Act1999 with a view to provide for the registration and better protection of GIs relating to goods.
