2007-10-10 02:36:00 Ever been told to "go jump in the lake"?Reply with, "I prefer the Pond '".Today I spent a lot of time reading (um..maybe I meant listening!) the Pre-Season information for the Thirty Day Challenge and then I took a break and signed up and worked on setting up my Marketing Pond account to see how the combined efforts of some programs work. I tend to prefer the GPT programs to the PTR (paid to read) programs but I decided I'd give it a try. My mother-in-law actually worked on a lot of the paid to read programs a few months ago to help pay a few bills and buy some material for the home renovation they are working on at the moment so I thought I'd see if they work as well in this format. I had time to sign up for all the programs today and tomorrow if I'm online I'll sign up for the advertising programs. My husband is off work tomorrow so I am working my part time job in the morning rather then afternoon and I usually don't turn on my computer on those days.What I'm curious about... 2007-10-01 17:09:00 Over the past year our family's income has decreased by about $950 due to my husband no longer receives overtime pay because his department is no longer on call and I went moved from full time to part time in order to complete school and enable me to change careers in the next year. We have plans over the next couple of years to start a family and buy a home. In an effort to build our savings and pay off some of our debts I delved into the GPT (or Get Paid To) and freebie worlds over the past couple of months.I thought starting a journal to track my progress would be beneficial to the experiment. I hope to over the next six months to be able to pay off our debts (school loan, car loan, old credit card debt) and put money aside in our savings without having to dip into our normal income.
