Learning as you go. That's what I call it, On the Back tracking Happy Trail. Finding a Link to a Link to a Link to a Link to a Link to a Link to a Link to a Link ......WOW......and then you get to a EUREKA place.... That "I've found it place"(for that day) and you have to backtrack like you are on a hiking trail to see where the trailhead started. Make sure you mark it, tag it, put it in your Fav's and keep it for later to see how you got there in the first place or copy it it to your URL's. Sometimes it can become quite a mystery...as one tracks one's ownself, let alone, wondering who's tracking you. Everyday, with an ever increasing amount of info and this ever-changing, ever-morphing new medium, All this blogging stuff can be be daunting. Well, the Dixie Witches got their brooms out and swept the Grammy's. 5 to be exact. I've followed these little sassy smart mouths and their career and have pondered long and hard as to just exactly when this fight, this battle with the Country Music Academy and Country Music itself all began for the Dixie Chicks. I'm one of those people when they find a good newspaper article that's interesting tacks it up on the inside of her Camper Wall s. MySpace.com you might say. Recently, an article that appeared in the Sunday paper was titled The Writing On the Wall. I had to read on. Apparently teachers are spending a mere 15 minutes a day teaching kids the age old art of penmanship. I was aghast. How could it be the little urchins could get away with not knowing how to write? Where is all the painfulness it took in learning how to make sqiggles and curves and loops? Some of us took our penmanship very seriously and coming from a Catholic grade school, even more so..Those nuns were the epitomy of perfect handwriting.
