The 32-year-old actress has never shied away from discussing her drug use in the past. She admitted turning to drugs when she was an upcoming actress. “I’ve done coke, heroin, ecstasy, LSD, everything. I gave them up long ago,” she said. In the video, she talks about loving sado-masochistic sex – and killing her pets. In the grainy video, Jolie says taking part in sex games where someone is tied down ‘is just a cool thing’. She also says that she accidentally killed a series of pets including a mouse when she dyed it blue, a hampster af... More About: Video , Drug

Ancient Danish king’s face reconstructed using Terracotta technique
2008-05-19 13:46:00 Copenhagen, May 19 (ANI): Two men, a scientist and sculptor, have used the terracotta facial reconstruction technique to recreate the face of an ancient Danish king. According to a report in the Copenhagen Post, the men behind the facial reconstructions are coroner Niels Lynnerup and sculptor Bjorn Skaarup. Since 2001, they have used the technique to put faces to many long-dead persons, including 17th century nobleman Kaj Lykke and Denmark’s oldest known citizen, the Koelbjerg woman of Funen, who lived around 10,000 years ago. Now, they have recreated the face of King Svend Estridsen of Denmark, who has been dead for over 900 years. A cast of the king’s skull was taken at the beginning of the 1900s and has been used by the two men to create a vivid likeness of the ruler’s face using the terracotta technique. The technique is used in many Western countries to recreate the faces of unidentified deceased persons and then shown publicly in the hopes of someone recognizing the face... Rebecca Saxe, a neuroscientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), has already identified an area of the brain (the temporoparietal junction) that lights up when people think about other people’s thoughts. “(That finding is) one of the most astonishing discoveries in the field of human cognitive neuroscience,” Science Daily quoted Nancy Kanwisher, the Ellen Swallow Richards Professor of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT and Saxe’s PhD thesis adviser, as saying. “We already knew that some parts of the brain are involved in specific aspects of perception and motor control, but many doubted that an abstract high-level cognitive process like understa...
