With all of the media related hoopla surrounding the new iPhone's release ($199 for the 8GB & $299 for the 16GB), we've been thinking about possibly switching from our Sprint enabled Blackberry's to Apple iPhone's given that the new version will be operating on the 3G network and all. So after going on AT&T's site in search of pricing plans to compare and finding it all a bit vague, we decided to do a Google search and here's an excellent pricing breakdown we found courtesy of the folks over at Apple Insider. They succintly compare the costs of the original iPhone to the new 3G one including monthly SMS charges.

ADIDAS CREATES A SERIES OF PROLETARIAT INSPIRED SPOTS FOR THE BEIJING 2008

Adidas is really looking to put it on Nike by selecting the forthcoming Beijing 2008 Olympic Games as a platform to launch its salvo against rival Nike for global brand domination. They are using this global stage to conduct a multi-pronged attack that includes: a) the opening of the world?s largest Adidas store b) announcing their they plans to open 6300 stores in China by 2010 and c) by dropping these beautiful people/athlete inspired TV spots. They were produced for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games by TBWA/Chiat and directed by Psyop's Marie Hyon and Marco Spier. As of this posting, Adidas is only planning to air these TV spots in the Chinese market.

BMW CHALLENGES THE CONVENTIONS OF TRADITIONAL CAR DESIGN WITH ITS G.I.N.A.

Falling under the category of "2008's Sickest Design Concept", BMW's GINA Light Visionary Model project (note to Chris: you need a better name for this, talk to Jobs) which stands for "Geometry and Functions in 'N' Adaptations" basically means that Bimmer designers we're given free reign to go buck wild and really think outside the box when it comes to the form and function of BMW car design as it relates to the future. Chris Bangle, the Director Of Design for BMW Group really breaks it down in the video below as to why they undertook this design driven endeavor.
