Tamba Trio was one of the nicest vocal / instrumental Bossa Nova combos from the 1960's and it is very hard to find someone that doesn't have good feelings about these guys. This album was released in the middle of two classic and well-known Tamba Trio records, which is Tamba Trio - Tempo (1964) and Tamba 4 - We and the Sea (1967), for A&M records in the US. Clapton a Yardbirds-ből, a másik két tag Graham Bond zenekarából érkezett, s a nem egészen két és fél év alatt négy albumot készítettek. Egy csárdában azonban néha még egy dudás is sok, az együttesben viszont pontosan három volt belőle.
