According to a report by the Reuters, Biz Stone, Co-founder of the micro-blogging site Twitter is keen on harnessing the large number of news tweets or links from its huge user base to roll out a news network. With the kind of boom that we are experiencing in the social media arena where everyone has become news carrier by ways of sharing them as their status messages or as links, crowd sourcing can certainly click. The co-founder could have certainly seen another big business here. His vision is to utilize the many layer of information that Twitter allows its users to share and create instant news update service. You might not have noticed but posts have been particularly sparse on the blog lately, and it partly has something to do with the little announcement that I am making on the blog today.
