My Weekend
2008-08-26 00:07:00 Saturday : 6:00 ? got up7:30 ? ate 8:00- violin 9:00 - cleaned the down stairs 10:30 ? started painting 12:00 - stop painting because my heart was racing and my chest hurts. I have an irregular heart beat, which means my heart will beat fine, them it will skip a beat, to make up for the skipped beat it will do two beats really fast. A lot of times when this happens it will hurt my Chest and make it hard to inhale when I breath. I've been to the doctor, had two EKG'S and blood work, but no one seems to know how to treat it. They were our next door neighbors when we lived in Cary! It was really wried seeing were we use to live! It seemed so much smaller! We had a really nice visit with the Montgomery's. It's really strange to think at one time we lived right next door and would see them every day! It brought back some really good memories !!At the Montgomery's! My brother Nicholas

Nicholas and I have been sharing a room for 15 years, I still remember the day he moved into my room and we started our wonderful brotherly love filled experiance of rooming together. (For people who don't know us that well, that last line has some sarcasm ;) ) Nick and I don't always see eye to eye you could say, sometimes it is like mixing oil and water personality wise. Because I am older, I have on occasion been a bit of a "my way or the highway" brother. :p But I have learned, and am still learning to listen to Nick's thoughts and opinions.There is a 5 year difference in age between us but we look enough alike that people who don't know us that well have a hard time distinguishing between us. I get called Nick and he gets called Will more often than not which is actually quite funny. 2007-12-26 01:24:00 As Usual, Tiger and Spanky Rule Yule at Our House in South Lake Tahoe. It’s like this at every Christmas. Spanky gets ready, then helps all of us open presents. He has his own Christmas sock full of treats and goodies. It’s a full attention day for him. And he likes it. Spanky has to play with every wrapping, and he particularly likes shredding anything cardboard. Tiger of course is above all of this pedestrian dog foolishness. Maxene is the master present passer. We weren’t kidding about the cardboard. Isn’t that a nice foot at frame left. That’s snow on the deck beyond. We were able to sneak in a few frames without dogs and cats in it. But they didn’t like it though. At the end of it, Tiger has his way with some red ribbon… he’d like a little sashimi on it also, and he too has his own Christmas sock as well.

For Thanksgiving we are having my dad's family over so we will have around 30 people at our house. For the past week we have been cleaning everything in sight and my Mother and sisters have been cooking. Because my dad has been out of town, the job of picking up the ham today fell on me. I was actually looking froward to it since I figured I would be in line for 30 minute to an hour at least and something interesting was bound to happen standing in line for an hour! Alas it was not to be. :( There were no fights in the parking lot over parking spaces, there was actually a police officer directing everyone so the task of parking was easy enough. Then when I got in the back of the 50+ person line, the line actually moved rather fast and there were not any loud talkative ladies carrying on conversations I could listen in on! Life from the Toaster
2007-11-19 20:49:00 Many people have asked us why on earth the blog is called "Life from the Toaster" They want to know if there is some special or hidden meaning that is derived from the title. So in answer to anyone who has asked or wondered about the title, here is the honest reason. Sarah could not think of a name and I wanted something that involved life and also sounded rather cool. Thinking along those lines the first thought in my head was life from the toaster. In Isaiah it says we are the clay and God is the potter. Our title is a bit of a humorous parody of that, we are the bread and God is the toaster. He is going to "toast" us much like a potter would put his pottery in a kiln. It may get hot sometimes but if we trust him we are going to end up as wonderful pieces of toast. :) Yes I know that sounds a tad weird, but next time you are going through a hard time just think of it as another experience in the "toaster of life"

I sit down with my whoppers and begin eating, all of a sudden out of the blue this old guy who was at a table next to me asks an open ended question about the drought we are in. Not wanting to be rude I answer him and we then proceeded to have a 10 minute conversation about rain, sprinklers, and grass!!! I think maybe I have an invisible "I will talk with you" sign on my head that strangers see or something.Or maybe these people are just lonely, and when I respond back to them they see me as someone who will listen and talk to them. I have always tried to be a cheerful person when I come in contact with people in the world. Virgina, this old lady at one of the local post offices calls me "Smiley" because she said it could be pouring down rain outside but I always come in with a smile. This is actually a topic I was going to post about but it has been in the "rough draft" stage and I have not had the time to finalize it. Since she did raise the question and a simple "yes" or "no" would need an explanation here it is:No, I am not moving into my apartment now, or in all likelihood ever. I am going to sell it. I have seriously thought about living in it, it is in an excellent location and is only 5 minutes away from work. Gone would be the 2+ hours of driving I currently do everyday, and I would have practically 1,100sqft all to myself. Sure I would have a monthly power/water/phone bill to keep track of, but at least half that cost would be covered by me not needing hardly any gas for my car. So why don't I want to move into it? Most people have never met sleepy Rufus mainly because he only seems to show up once I have gone to sleep, but boy does he cause trouble!
