2007-07-25 04:09:00
Kuala Lumpur : Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak yesterday said website and blog operators must take responsibility for what is posted on their sites, and reminded them that they are not above the law. ” I would like to remind website operators and writers that they are not above the law. There is a limit, as laid out by the law, to the freedom to express their views.” Najib said they should not take the government’s tolerance as a licence to publish anything in the name of freedom of speech without considering the effect on the society. 2007-06-25 02:36:00
Apparently, Dick Cheney thinks he is above the law.  Time has past in terms of when the U.S. congress should have impeached him.  The Congress we have today should make no American proud, as they only serve the big businesses.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v-=cCD5g4WdUWE   Bookmark to:

Cheney is not subject to the executive order, she said, “because the president gets to decide whether or not he should be treated separately, ...
Bush Says He is Above the Law
2007-06-24 08:23:00
In the slightly paraphrased words of my astute friend Al Buono, "This is incredibly arrogant and brazenly unconstitutional ... IMPEACH THEM BOTH; NOW! Then fire up the war crimes trials." Bush Claims Oversight Exemption Too : The LA Times reports: "The White House says the president's own order on classified data does not apply to his office or the vice president's.The White House said Friday that, like Vice President Dick Cheney's office, President Bush's office is not allowing an independent federal watchdog to oversee its handling of classified national security information. An executive order that Bush issued in March 2003 ? amending an existing order ? requires all government agencies that are part of the executive branch to submit to oversight. Although it doesn't specifically say so, Bush's order was not meant to apply to the vice president's office or the president's office, a White House spokesman said...."Hat tip yet again to Al.Related Articles:MotherJones.com: D...

There is no doubt about it, QLD police are coming down hard on speeding drivers and those caught talking on their mobile phone.
