Maddow is a frequent guest on MSNBC, she appeared regularly on Tucker Carlson's former 11pmET show, The Situation. Wolff, who was the EP of that show, has been running MSNBC's prime time since September 2005. No word on if the pilot is being considered ready for take-off.I absolutely adore Miz Rachel. She's a big time liberal but that doesn't matter to this Republican. Rachel is brilliant (Rhodes scholar, Ph.D poly sci), Air America talk show host, witty, an excellent talking head (she appears regularly on my former addiction, Keith Olbermann). And Bill Wolff is GREAT on the air! Love his bad boy eyes, smile, and attitude. Lucky Alison Stewart (his wife) pregnant with their first child. 2006-10-14 08:12:04 Liberal talk network fails to reach pact with creditor NEW YORK - Air America Radio, the liberal talk and news radio network that features the comedian Al Franken, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Friday, but will stay on the air while it reorganizes with funding from its investor group. The network had denied rumors just a month ago that it would file for bankruptcy protection. On Friday, Air America spokeswoman Jaime Horn told the AP that the filing became necessary only recently after negotiations with a creditor from the privately held company?s early days broke down. Horn declined to name the creditor, but the company had tussled earlier with a business partner, MultiCultural Radio Broadcasting Inc., which is also a creditor to Air America?s parent company, Piquant LLC.
