However, to get a visa with Qatar Airways, you have to book a room for your stay with a five or four star hotel. We have included a list of approved hotels below.The hotel can be booked via Qatar Airways, with the visa fee being paid at the same time. British Airways orders up 100 Civic hybrids

Honda announced today that it has completed a deal with BA for the hybrids, one of the largest hybrid fleet contracts in the UK and the cars will be delivered this summer. Honda's press release (available after the jump) says these hybrids will help each driver cut "CO2 emissions by one tonne per year." This number comes from the airline and Masterlease, which calculates the hybrids will reduce CO2 emissions from three tons a year to two compared to the unnamed vehicles they are replacing. The Civic hybrid is a good seller in the UK, and Honda's most recent numbers say that corporate sales are up 295 percent in 2008 vs. the same period in 2007. Thus far, Honda has sold 537 Civic hybrids - which get 61.4 mpg on the EU cycle and emit just 109 grams of CO2 per kilometer - in 2008. Jet Airways at this moment of time has 90 planes -- Boeing 737s & 777s and Airbuses. In addition, the carrier has ordered 30 more planes for $2.5 billion. Jet Airways employs 10,000 people and its revenue during the fiscal year 2006-07 was $1.4 billion. By 2011, the revenue of Jet can grow to $3.5 billion. In other words, Jet Airways as a brand is pretty much established. Between Jet Airways and Jet Light, company has about 70 Boeings. Out of which, few are Airbuses. Company also has some 8 ATR. By next year, Jet Airways will have 120 planes. Of these, 20 planes are wide-bodied 777s while 10 are Boeing 737s. The domestic market of Jet Airways is growing by 40 percent. Like United Airlines did earlier this month, the Phoenix based carrier is adding a fee of $25 to check a second bag on their flights. Unlike United, however, no consideration to the consumer was ever provided. Also, they've recently announced a big downgrade to their frequent flier program, by cutting the miles earned on shorthaul flights.With United, if you paid the highest class of ticket, you can check a second bag for free. Elite frequent fliers also are exempt from the baggage fee and the new baggage policy only applies to domestic flights.
