Al Sharpton's organization says Canton has not addressed complaints of police misconduct, so the civil rights group is asking the NFL to cancel this summer's Hall of Fame game in the city. Richard Jones heads the local chapter of the National Action Network, founded by Sharpton. Jones says the group also will publish contact information for black NFL stars so they can be urged to put pressure on the league. Al Sharpton and conservative WOR NYC talk show guy Steve Malzberg were at each other's throats at last weekend's R&R Talk Radio Seminar. The two appeared on a panel that was supposed to resemble a presidential debate. The issue: Obama's "spiritual adviser" Rev. Jeremiah Wright. Sharpton had just slammed Hillary for trotting out surrogates like Geraldine Ferraro to attack Obama. Charles Barkley told Playboy magazine that he plans to run for governor of Alabama, but won't ask for campaign help from Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson. "I don't believe in them. They always play the race card, and you can't always play the race card. Sometimes the race card is needed but not in every situation. We have to hold blacks more accountable for their actions" he says.Deezee Say's:I usaually wouldn't because I feel that Charles Barkley is more on the Oreo side of things. But this time I will agree with what he is saying about Jesse and Al, even though most of the time it is racially provoked, I don't think that it is 100% of the time. So I agree, just not with the bolded part of his quote. And that's because more than some of the time blacks are held accountable for every race's actions, and thats the problem.
