2008-03-27 23:02:00 The Allman Brothers have been forced to postpone their run at New York's Beacon Theatre along with cancelling their appearance at their own Wanee Festival in Live Oak, Florida.Frontman Gregg Allman is currently being treated for Hepatitis C and, although his doctors say that the disease has been "eradicated from his system"; however, he needs additional rest before taking on a strenuous three-week residency.Allman said in a statement, "I'm getting better but I'm still tired. I need to be at 110% to do the shows the way we do them. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the support and understanding my Brothers and our fans have given me."Current ticket holders for the Beacon run should retain their tickets until the new dates are announced.
