The city is a mixture of old temples and buildings, old british houses from the times of colonization, small weird taxis that they called "tuktuk", total chaos on traffic, they sell everything at the stop signs, that is, when they stop at the red light. The food is excellent and very spicy. Last night we went to a small fair where they sell local products and I had to be very patitent, saying "NO" at least 50 times. They insist a lot in selling their stuff. But the country is spetacular, an unique experince for sure.Today we will play our first gig over here and the expectations are high. Also it was going to be a game between Brazil and Colombia for the 2010 World Cup qualifying round. Because of heavy rains our plane from Bogota to Medellin was delayed 5 hours. We watched the game at the airport, among a Colombian majority, which was screaming every chance to score. It was funny.
