APNE is available from force to might. The film may have had a slow start, but the business is showing an upward trend with each passing day. The praises have been flowing from within the industry as well. Promos of respected film-makers like Yash Chopra and Karan Johar are doing the rounds of television. But there's one more director who seems highly impressed with the film. Rajkumar Hirani. The director of films like MUNNABHAI M.B.B.S. and LAGE RAHO MUNNABHAI sent a text message to Anil Sharma soon after he watched APNE, praising the directorial abilities in particular and the film in general. The message reads: You have made a film from the heart. Wonderful script wonderfully executed. Great performances. People are sure to clap and scream. Apne's USP is that for the first time we will see all the 3 Deols together. Dircted by Anil Sharma the movie was been touted as the Great Indian Family Drama and lets see if it lives up to its hype. Taran Adarsh reviews the movie and here are some excepts:APNE is rich in emotions and a number of sequences, especially those between Dharmendra and Sunny, are electrifying. Also, the boxing matches [Chris Anderson] are pulse-pounding and you clench your fists tightly due to the tension that's depicted on screen.But APNE has its share of shortcomings as well. Ideally, the film should've had a concise format of 2.15 hours, instead of 2.54 hours. Besides, the screenplay, although tight at most times, succumbs to mediocrity at places. Music too is another aspect that should've had a lingering effect, since it's not everyday that the three Deols come together.To sum up, APNE is desi at heart and holds appeal for those who swear by desi flicks. A worthy effort nonetheless!...

I came a cross an article about sleep apnea and was surprised that this disease is pretty common.I remember a friend of mine a few years ago mentioning that his wife had this disorder.He told me that she would stop breathing in her sleep for a few seconds but that the doctor said it really wasnt anything to worry about.But from what i read today it is actually pretty dangerous.The risk of heart disease and stroke is higher if sleep apnea goes untreated.I cant imagine what it would feel like to know that when your sleeping you could stop breathig for between 10 and 30 seconds up to 400 times a night.There are machines called CPAP devices, cpap stands for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure.You wear a mask that adds pressure to the air you breathe and keeps your airway open.Pretty scary to think that 18 million people in the states have this and no telling how many dont realize it and drive everyday , not knowing if they could fall asleep at any moment.

  SoapNet is getting into original scripted series, greenlighting General Hospital: Night Shift, an extension of the ABC Daytime drama. The Disney-ABC-owned cable network plans to begin production on 13 hour-long episodes in a few months for a summer premiere. At a time when daytime viewing of soaps is decreasing, Soapnet is playing an ever more important role in supporting the genre, especially for its corporate parent. The network, which in January saw a 48% jump in primetime viewing year over year, runs same-day reruns of ABC’s network-owned soaps, as well as some others and some unscripted soap-related originals. Night Shift will be written and executive-produced by GH’s head team - Robert Guza Jr. and Jill Farren Phelps - and will explore what happens during the night shift at the hospital.   Disney’s SOAPnet and Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution have struck an off-network deal for the cable network to acquire four seasons of Fox’s cancelled The O.C. and The CW’s One Tree Hill. SOAPnet, seeking to acquire primetime fare that is compatible with its lineup of daytime soaps, has grabbed other Warner Bros. off-net properties in the past, including the short-lived Pasadena and the classic serialized drama, Dallas. The O.C., airing at 6 p.m., and One Tree Hill, at 5 p.m., will debut as a Monday-Friday strip on the cable network beginning April 9.
