2008-05-29 15:26:00 In Florida does anyone know the legal reasons other than race,sex, handicap to deny an application. We have an applicant that we just don't get a good feeling from. All tattoed up, his dad is looking for his apartment for him, he is desperate to move immediately, he is very young and we just dont want to rent to him. We'd rather wait for a more qualified person. So is that enough reason to deny? Because we feel he is not a good fit for our apt? Do I even have to give a reason in FL? Can I just say it's been denied? The problem with saying we have another applicant is we don't and we'll still have signs up in the area he lives in now which is near our apt.
