2007-08-22 12:04:00 E' da poco uscito il nuovo lavoro degli Architecture in Helsinki, collettivo australiano con base a Melbourne ma sempre in giro per il mondo. Il titolo del nuovo album è "Places Like This" e anche in questo come nei precedenti i sei australiani danno libero sfogo alla loro creatività e bravura cimentandosi con innumerevoli strumenti. Non solo i classici chitarre, basso e batteria, ma anche tuba, trombone, tromba, sintetizzatori, samplers e tanti altri ancora per dare come risultato delle canzoni davvero particolari. Una moltitudine di suoni, rumori, voci e vocine si mescolano per dare vita a canzoni davvero fresche, frizzanti, divertenti, un po' pazze. Una musica particolare quella degli AIH: ritmi calypso e dal sapore tropicale, percussioni, elettronica, testi spesso senza senso o apparentemente tali, non solo twee pop ma, soprattutto in questo nuovo disco, anche qualcosa di funky e rock.
