The wimpy NBC suits left the "extended leave of absence" door open to pacify the Kennedy princess. Her last payment was in August of last year. LA Times NBC had no comment on the LA Times report. Clearly it was a conflict of interest for Miz Maria to continue reporting for "Dateline: NBC." It would've cost NBC a LOT more to buy out the remaining three years on her contract. NBC won't say how much Shriver was paid for picking her teeth. The LA Times claims between 100 grand and a mil a year. Maria desperately wanted to resume her career but NBC didn't have the balls to deflate the California governor's newly-powerful wife's fantasy.
