2007-04-26 04:45:00 Wednesday, April 25 2007 ESPN is reporting that Arturo Gatti will face the Contender's Alphonso Gomez on the July 14 HBO telecast headlined by WBO welterweight champion Antonio Margarito vs mandatory challenger Paul Williams. IBF welterweight champion Kermit Cintron's first defense against Walter Matthysse will also be televised. Margarito-Williams will take place in Southern California, while Gatti-Gomez and Cintron-Matthysse will be at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Source |
