Don't be too hard on yourself. Oprah's webcast with author Eckhart Tolle offered five suggestions that will help you ease into your reading experience: Be patient and easy on yourself as you read. Have two markers on hand while you read. Highlight favorite sentences with one color and lines that confuse you with another. Don't worry about skipping portions—flag them and come back to them later. As you read deeper into the book, some of the passages that may have confused you earlier will be clarified.
