An entire generation of Indians has been shaped by that one day. It created divisions that are yet to be bridged. It afflicted wounds that yet to be healed. I will just quote a line from a poem "Madhushala" by legendary poet Hariwansh Rai Bachan:mandhir,masjid bhair badhavay.prem badhavay madhushala.Translation:Temples- and mosques breed hatred,But Bars spreads love.I havent seen a bigger irony. Temples and mosques are supposed to spread love and peace. But they are doing just the opposite.
