Drummer Adam Ficek revealed in a mySpace bulletin that the band plan to post two further new songs online within the next few weeks, "1939" and "Mouse In The House". He also hinted that Babyshambles would be playing some low-key Christmas shows, which one can only assume will mean a return of their impromptu pub gigs.

The guitarist, who previously worked as a session musician for James Blunt, quit the 'Down In Albion' band just hours before their tour was about to commence in Manchester this weekend. Patrick, who had previously left the band in 2005 but returned in 2006, co-wrote top ten hit 'Fuck Forever' and live favourite '32nd Of December', among others, with Pete Doherty."He came up to Manchester on the tour bus with us, he was going to come out and play on a couple of songs, but there were complications and he had to go home. Personally, I just found it all a bit strange," said replacement guitarist Mick Whitnall - who has filled in for Walden before. 2007-01-14 08:27:02 IT had all the necessary ingredients of a BABYSHAMBLES gig . . . violence, rioting, sweat, cigarettes and shambolic performing. PETE DOHERTY and his band played the Dublin Castle in London’s Camden on Thursday. He threw lager on the crowd – which included SADIE FROST and AMY WINEHOUSE – then complained when the stage was crashed by fans. But Potty Pete still seemed to have some energy after the gig, no doubt fuelled by a few extra chemicals, for a frenzied assault on photographers. The singer sent two snappers flying into rubbish bins and attacked one with his guitar. I wonder if his predictable but appalling behaviour had anything to do with KATE MOSS’s notable absence from the show . Kate has been spotted viewing a two-storey mansion in North London. The Sun Sounds like rehab did wonders for him…not.
