Everyone hates my favorite wall clock. Everyone. Just because it's backwards. Literally so, in this case; it's one of those clocks that works backwards, to that the numbers go from 12 at the top to 1 just to it's left, then 2, working their way around the opposite direction. It's a backwards clock; it's a counterclock. And I love it, but everyone hates it because they say they can't tell time on it and it confuses them and they get used to it and then can't use regular clocks.Who knew that wall clocks could inspire that kind of passion? Still, now that I'm getting a little older and more mature, maybe it's time to update my home decorations with some new wall clocks. This is the perefect time to do this, because with the clocks I can get from 1-800-4Clocks, and the advice I can get on clocks from their blog -- advice like how to use a clock to brighten up a room and change the style of that room -- I can save some money and get a great new addition to our decorating scheme....

Allow me to state something that is very obvious.  You are reading this from left to right.  What might not be obvious is that, if it were written in Hebrew, you would be reading it from right to left.  Books published in English are read from front to back.  Books written in Hebrew are exactly the opposite–you read them from back to front. I bring that up for a reason. WordPress 2.5 did give us some useful improvements, however I feel that the widgets became much harder to use, and I think most people would agree with me. This screen shows the way widgets used to . All you need to do is select the widget and move it across any available sidebars to arrange them, or simple drop it back into the placeholder at the bottom to remove the widget from your blog. Pretty simple to understand, fun to use. But with WordPress 2.5 this becomes a 3-step process which is not only confusing, it’s also much harder and no fun at all. Gone is the “drag and drop” function and honestly I don’t see the reason to change what is not broken. Now you have to first (1) select the sidebar you want to edit (2) add the available widgets to the sidebar and only then can you (3) move and rearrange the widgets. So what do I have against Windows Vista this month? Well, this month, I will be talking about something that many XP to Vista PC users have encountered as well; backwards compatibility problems. The compatibility problem is a lot more serious than you can imagine. For example, last weekend, my mother tried to do her taxes with the famous tax program, Tubro Tax. Everything went find, until the following message appears on screen “Windows has encountered a problem with Tubro Tax and needs to shut down”. Because this, my mom lost all her tax data and needed to start the whole filing taxes process all over again! Sadly enough, the program did this the second time, but luckily for my mom, she saved all her data. Now, before you say “Well stop complaining and get one compatible with it!”, I’m going to say this; “There aren’t any!”.
