I'm really not in such a bad mood, but...

But I can't stop thinking about an interaction I had this morning at the school.I was just finishing up the task at hand when a staff member needed help doing some rather easy, but administrative type of stuff for the track meet today. The stuff nobody wants to do, but must be done for things to run smoothly.At first it looked like another parent had it covered and I was ready to jet. Then I heard him explain that he frankly isn't very good with details and someone else should do it. No really. 2007-10-10 05:38:00 I had my annual pap exam today…I must say it was frightening b/c ever since the abortion, I hate going to doctors, especially gynocologists. While being in stirrups it just felt like I was gonna cry, but I think I did good today. I was in mostly a bad mood today…I think mostly due to a bad nights sleep…I've been having a hard time sleeping and eating lately. I dont want to go to sleep (thats why I am blogging @ 3:34am) or eat very much…which is so unlike me b/c I am a greedy something-something lol. sometimes I'll go a whole day without eating…or I eat very late. 2007-07-31 16:07:00 The daughter was in a terrible mood last night. The problem is this - she hardly sleeps when she's with the childminder. You'd think this would make her sleep better but it doesn't. If she sleeps badly during the day she is hateful to her Mummy, irritable and always seems to wake up early! She decided to sit on the pavement and refuse to move when we were making our way home. She was in a mood because I wouldn't let her eat any stones! She is always picking them up and trying to stick them in her mouth. She was at her Great Nan's house on Sunday and I told my Nan to watch her with the stones in the garden. My Nan's response - "These stones are clean". I'm not worried about stones Nan, I'm worried about her choking to death!

Bad mood
2007-03-07 05:04:15 I'm in a foul mood today. Don't know what's wrong with me. I woke up happily enough - lovely spring day and I felt quite hopeful. By 11 o'clock the mood had changed. The daughter's due to have a booster next week so I called the health visitor to arrange. She started going on about the daughter and the fact that she's had a cough and it could be this or that. By the time I'd come off the phone she had me in a panic that there was something seriously wrong. I wish I could be more like the unflappable husband. The health visitor is lovely but if there's anything wrong with the daughter she seems to start by diagnosing the worst possible scenario before working her way down a list of other diagnosis. She's got me in such a spin that I'm sat here waiting for the phone to ring. I was convinced nursery would call to say she's ill. The only problem is, she's not ill - she's fine! |
