These are the last updates about the vessel that is missing since the 13th of January 2008. 2008-04-21 21:23:00 Because some think that the missing vessel was found , the son of the captain spoke again after the incident of the French Yacht and how the French Navy interfered to rescue the crew and the passengers and to arrest the pirates by the orders of Sarkozy. People till now the Badr I Vessel is still missing and the families of the crew know nothing about their men at all , whether the Egyptians or the other Arab nationalities on the board of the vessel. The son of Captain El-Battouy suspects that the Vessel was taken by the American Navy from the Red Sea. 2008-02-12 18:31:00 This is just came with the memory of Salam 98 ,it can become another Egyptian X-file : The missing Badr I. Badr I is a 1700 ton cargo ship owned by Afro Asia Shipping company "I do not know if it was the one from Singapore or it is a native company", its crew consists of 14 men on board of the vessel : 9 Egyptians , 4 Sudanese and one Yemeni. The flag on the ship is the flag of Sierra Leone !! In last January 2008 this cargo ship went from the Suez to Port Sudan harbour to deliver a cement cargo there .
