Balakrishna as police officer in 'Sadhu'
2008-05-27 09:13:00 Nandamuri Balakrishna's latest film 'Pandurangadu' is all set for release on May 30. Even as the film is about to hit the screen, Balakrishna started playing hero in a film under the direction of Gunasekhar, which is being produced by MS Raju on the banner of Sumanth Arts. 'Sadhu' is the title under consideration for the movie. Though the shooting of the film had begun long ago, the entire unit is maintaining a low-profile, in the wake of MS Raju's successive failures. It is learnt that Balakrishna is playing the role of a powerful police officer in the movie on the lines of 'Rowdy Inspector'. The role would be further powerful than 'Lakshmi Narasimha', the director claims. Bala Krishna and Raghavendra Rao Team up for Ranga Panduranga...
2007-09-26 21:55:00 Bala Krishna gets busy again after his daughter's marriage. He is teaming up with the (vintage) Director Raghavendra Rao for their new film Ranga Panduranga... I know this news is old but what is new is that the shooting of the film is commencing on 21st October, 2007. The Pooja ceremony will be held in the second week. It is being planned that after a week of scheduled shooting, Bala Krishna will again start working on Okka Magadu. And then after the entire Okka Magadu finishes, Bala Krishna would join the shooting for Ranga Panduranga.I wonder if he gets to wear this pant in a mythological movie...!!! ---KALCHARaghavendra Rao is producing it on his RK Film Associates banner. He has tasted bitterness in recent times with all of his films after NARASIMHA NAIDU (Veera Bhadra, Allari Pidugu, Vijayendra Varma, Maharathi Etc.,) bombing and falling on the sidelines like a pack of cards... He is proving to be a huge risk for the producers. So he seems to get some of his common sense back and is embarking on a new journey to entertain us with a mythological film. 2007-01-25 17:39:01 Poor chap!!! producer Vakada Apparao declared that Balakrishna and his movie Maharadhi is out of Sankranthi race. Fans of Balakrishna, might be very disappointed over the prolonged delay for the release of Maharadhi. As U all might already know, it's official that the movie can at best release for this month end slots. Producer Vakada Apparao might be citing other technical delays... but the facts are out in the open that the delay is in fact due to the lack of theatres or the lack of buyers.In fact two of the much anticipated movies in recent times has been Yogi and Desa muduru. Yogi is being directed by the sensational hit maker V.V.Vinayak with the young and macho Prabhas being the title bearer. Desa Muduru is being directed by Puri Jagannath... and we all can understand the reason for him being red hot after Pokiri.
