I have mentioned before that at some engagements, the person assigned to look after the speaker sometimes acts more like a guard (usually the males, I have to say!) but Maggie was excellent, doing everything to make the day run smoothly for me and delivering a super vote of thanks after my talk. I was introduced to the Federation Chairman Mrs Angela Southwell and the outgoing Federation Secretary Joanne Skelton who had booked me to speak at this event.
