Bing & other MS sites fielded 2.75 Billion search requests as against Yahoo’s 2.65 Billion. In terms of US market’s share it was 15.1 % against 14.5% respectively. However, these two are nowhere near even when clubbed together against Google’s 12 Billion search requests or a whopping 66%. We tried to analyze the reasons for this upsurge: Yahoo has signed a 10 Year deal with Microsoft. With this deal Yahoo has tried to save money by relying on Microsoft to provide the bulk of its search technology. UConn Beats Itself in 34-20 Loss To Louisville

And that's what happened to the UConn Huskies on Saturday afternoon with horrible special teams to start the game, eight dropped passes, a dumb roughing the kicker penalty and then lateraling the ball at the end of the game when you still had a timeout. The end result of all those blunders was a 34-20 loss to the Louisville Cardinals in front of 34,483 at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, CT. The Huskies fall to 4-6 (2-3 Big East) and need to win their final two games to become bowl-eligible. I may have killed the suspense with the title of this post. Nevertheless, the numbers are interesting. Using data over a period of six months, the study finds that RockeTalk is the most used mobile social networking application. Orkut comes in at a respectable second. Followed by Qeep, Facebook and Twitter. Airtel reported recently that almost 80% of data usage happens in non metros. If this pattern of usage is similar on other networks, the findings are not too surprising given that the popularity of Facebook and Twitter is mainly restricted to Metros as of now. In their 23-12 opening day victory, Notre Dame outgained the Big Ten's Purdue Boilermakers 358-322, and by 51 on the ground. But those statistics don't reflect all the tremendous pressure that Boilers quarterback Robert Marve faced all day. If it wasn't for Marve's blazing 4.5 speed and superlative escapability, the numbers would have been skewed even further in Irish favor.
