Needs a job as a babysitter or pasture companion due to hind leg issue. He gets around fine but is very stiff in one hind leg. He is 18 years old and approx 15.2 hands. He is not suitable for riding. Porky is a quiet, laid back horse in excellent condition. There are no soundness issues that we are aware of, broke to drive and will soon be put under saddle. Good with his feet, UTD on worming/vaccinations and will see the farrier and equine dentist before being placed. He will be removed from quarantine on June 9th and will be ready for a new home. Shes only been in training since November because shes a rescue, but shes very gentle and eager to learn and please. Shes never offered to bite, kick, buck etc. Very gentle horse. Shes been started western but you could go English with her. Shes had about 10 rides on her and does very well. She has a good stop and turns well. She lunges, stands, ties and loads well. Shes very obedient and respectful and is very good with voice commands. Since shes not yet finished she is not for a beginner, but for an advanced rider or knowledgeable intermediate rider. She would make a great training project for a 4H-er. I dont feel I can give her 100 of the training she needs but I love her and am not ready to see her sold. She is for partial lease which means you can come out and ride her and play with her whenever you like and Ill take care of all the feeding and costs. I only ask 100 a month ...
