In calo PLR (-3), PPD (-1) e PS (-2), stabili UDC (3) e Verdi (2). Anche a Chiasso la Lega avanza in consiglio comunale (+3), dove riesce a superare il PPD che perde un seggio. Anche la lista Unità socialista e Verdi cresce (+2), stabili per contro i liberali radicali che confermano i 18 consiglieri comunali dell'ultima legislatura. A Locarno fanno un passo indietro PLR (-2) e PPD (-1). Perde un rappresentante anche il PS (-1). Un po' perché giro senza occhiali per comodità e la vista a furia di studiare cala, un po' perché mi scazzo a leggere. Fattostà che mia mamma lesse una roba del tipo "San Dionigi, martirizzato a Montmartre, raccolse la propria testa -si dice- e venne a morire in questo luogo".
