Drunk Driver Hits Crowd Of 11 Bicyclist...STRIKE!!
2008-06-03 23:59:00 It happened outside of Monterrey, Mexico, near the U.S. border, on Sunday when a drunk driver apparently fell asleep at the wheel and slammed into the middle of a bike race, killing one and injuring 10. A couple more photos following the jump, if you're so inclined. From the looks of this the car hit the cyclists head-on, and good for the two guys on the left who seemingly managed to avoid the mayhem. It looks like he got just about everyone else. Just terrible. Another guy on a regular, normal sized bike, follows him, filming for about 4 minutes, until he loses him. This looks pretty risky. I don't think I would try this. Tough sentence after judge hears woman laughing at dead bicyclist
2008-01-27 10:55:00 Melissa Arrington will spend 10 years in prison because (a) she was driving drunk when she killed bicyclist Paul L'Ecuyer and (b) she was caught on tape laughing about his death. Judge Michael Cruikshank said during a sentencing hearing that the conversation, which was recorded on a jail telephone, is "breath-taking in its inhumanity," according to the Arizona Daily Star.
