In the will of Benazir Bhutto, she appointed her sister Sanam Bhutto as a replacement if anything happened to her, but as Sanam Bhutto is purely apolitical and was also unwilling to take the onus, and Asif Ali Zardari, the husband of Benazir also excused himself of the job, it has been almost decided that Bilawal Zardari would be the next chairman.
