This particular "album" is actually a trilogy of recordings bringing together the great Les Baxter, Dr. Samuel Hoffman, and Harry Revel* (so you know it is bound to be dope.)All three LPs are composed by Revel and feature the theremin work of the good doctor Hoffman. The first two (Music Out of the Moon and Perfume Set to Music) feature the famous Les Baxter as the conductor, while the third (Music for Peace of Mind) features Billy May as the conductor.One interesting historical/trivia note is that Perfume Set to Music was actually sponsored by the Corday perfume company due in part to the success of Music Out of the Moon.
