IFBB New York PRO 2008 - Risultati - Foto - Commento
2008-05-11 14:38:00 Kai Greene. E' lui a vincere a New York e pensandoci bene, chi poteva farlo se non lui? Granitico nella parte frontale, perde secondo me qualcosa nel petto, per recuperare poi nelli quadricipiti. Tuttavia, è stato il dominatore della serata, seguito da un Kevin English che si presenta in forma, anche se a mio avviso non abbastanza. Ronnie Rockel è il solo che può andare dietro al gruppo di testa, anche se io lo avrei messo meritatamente al secondo posto: forse non era tirato all'osso ma era sicuramente più pieno ed esteticamente valido rispetto a Kevin English. Durante gli anni, questa manifestazione sembra aver perduto di importanza, quest'anno più che mai già il volantino sembrava più scarno e su molti forum mondiali si vociferava del decadimento del NY PRO. The other guy, is not.This post may turn into a bit of a rant and for that my buff readers, I apologise.When in work tonight I noticed a young guy working his chest and even when I was 45 minutes into a session with a client he still seemed to be working his chest although the angle of the bench had changed ever so slightly. Now this young guy has probably read a lot of bodybuilding magazines and has been brainwashed into thinking that he needs to hit chest from every possible angle for it to grow. I could tell from his shape that he hadn't yet applied the same principles to his back workouts and was heading towards some muscle imbalances and potential shoulder problems down the line. NPC Bodybuilder Dan Puckett Did NOT Die from Anabolic Steroids
2008-04-30 16:30:00 NPC Bodybuilder Dan Puckett was found dead in his apartment on November 8, 2007 at the age of 22. There was immediate speculation that Puckett died from the use of anabolic steroids based on the fact that he was a bodybuilder and furthered by the rampant steroid hysteria in the media. Fin ad adesso niente di strano, ma voglio raccontarvi tutta la storia dall'inizio per farvi capire cosa effettivamente c'entra Bodybuilderlife in questa vicenda: Qualche mese fa vengo contattato per email da un fotografo molto preparato e capace, i cui lavori sono stati oggetto di diversi articoli qui sul sito, Roberto Chiovitti. This is his earliest picture.My point to all this isn't to get into a drug debate but instead show how quickly the body bounces back if you have put the work in before. 2008-04-08 20:21:00 E' il 5 Aprile 2008. Porbabilmente ci stimao chiedendo in quale stato si trovi il Mr.Olympia regnante. Le foto che vi mostro arrivano dal Natural Northern USA e ci mostrano Jay Cutler come guestposer. Ogni commento sulla sua forma è quasi inutile in vista di Settembre, ma come dal suo primo Sandow, Jay ci sta abituando ad un offseason molto soft, senza enormi incrementi di massa alla Coleman (a dir il vero era anche una sua caratteristica prima della sua vittoria a Las Vegas). Tuttavia, la parte alta della schiena sembra essere molto più sviluppata, l'asimmetria delle gambe è più evidente in alcune foto e meno in altre.

New DVD: Ronnie Coleman Invincible
2008-04-04 16:09:00 E' questo il titolo del nuovo DVD di Ronnie Coleman, del quale per adesso sappiamo ben poco. Quello che sappiamo è che è uscito e disponibile presso la Mocvideo, azienda produttrice, la solita Mitsuru Okabe. Dopo Relentless, quindi, Ronnie produce il suo ultimo DVD dandogli un nome importante e che alla fine non rispecchia i risultati ottenuti all'ultimo Olympia ma bensì in tutta la sua carriera. Dal suo primo First Taining Video a Invicible, sono passati esattamente 10 anni. Dai 60 minuti del VHS siamo passati a circa 6 ore dell'ultimo DVD. Ci sarà da divertirsi, statene certi.

2008-03-13 07:11:00 L'Australian GP ci porta un risultato non inatteso. In Australia sono arrivati una cerchia di atleti capeggiati da Dexter Jackson, che aveva già la vittoria in tasca. Inutile negare che visti i risutati ottenuti a Columbus non c'erano troppe domande. Melvin Anthony ha fatto un salto di posizione non indifferente, Moe El Moussawi sta attraversando una stagione tra alti e bassi, ma la condizione è sicuramente positiva. Abbiamo visto sicuramente un Phil Heath cambiato e migliorato, che ha sbaragliato la concorrenza all'IronMan. Non è riuscito a fare la doppietta con l'Arnold Classic, perchè un Dexter Jackson veramente in forma glielo ha impedito. 2008-02-06 05:54:00 Sources are reporting that top ranked NPC Bodybuilder Erik “The Viking” Fromm was found dead at his Wisconsin home yesterday, February 4th, 2008. The cause of death has not been determined. While it’s impossible to confirm the rumors at this moment, this what we’ve been able to find out as of 02/02/08, 6:30pm EST.1) Cathy LeFrancois Priest (who is still legally married to Lee) was notified by a racecar driver friend of Lee’s named “Ron” that Lee tried to kill himself.2) According to Ron, Lee was living with his girlfriend, Tammy, in Scottsdale, Arizona when they (Lee and Tammy) got into some sort of an altercation/argument.
