This recipe should make a 5 gallon batch with an original gravity of 1.048.IngredientsWyeast #2278 Czech Pils lager yeast1 can Alexander's Pale3 pounds Laaglander Extra Light Dry Malt Extract10 Home Bittering Units of Saaz hops (Consult a HBU chart for this) for bittering1 teaspoon Irish Moss2 ounces Saaz hops1 tablespoon gelatin1/4 cup corn sugar for bottlingStepsPop yeast pack 48 hours before brew dayPrepare yeast starter 24 hours before brew dayBring water to boil. Turn off the heat and stir in the extracts. Return to boil.When boiling starts add the bittering hops. Boil for 60 minutes total.Add Irish moss for the last 30 minutes.Add 1/2 ounce of Saaz hops for the last 15 minutesAdd 1/2 ounce of Saaz hops for the last 5 minutesCool wort quickly and add yeast starterPrimary ferment at 50 degrees F for 10 to 14 days....

She attended Southern Methodist University for a year and a half before mustering the courage in a bar one night in 1985 to get up on-stage with a local band, the New Bohemians. She joined the band and wrote songs over the next year as the band changed and evolved. They finally settled on the personnel of Brad Houser (bass), Kenny Withrow (guitar), and Matt Chamberlain (drums) before taking off for Rockfield Studios in Wales to record their debut album. That album, Shooting Rubberbands at the Stars, released by Geffen Records, revealed Brickell to be a songwriter with a unique perspective and a singer with an intimate, conversational style.
