2008-07-02 18:19:00 So I've never been a big fan of all these toolbars you add your your browsers, I recently blogged about the Alexa toolbar, and now I'm about to blog about StumbleUpon. It's Weird, I know The StumbleUpon toolbar is very interesting. You sign up for an account, and download the toolbar for firefox or IE. It adds a "Stubmle" button. As you press it you are taken to (initally) random websites. However as you rank each site, it seems to keep track of your preferences and starts sending you to more pesonalized sites. Plus you can add your own intersting sites as well which is then shared with others. Definitly something worth trying, if you just don't know where to go on the Web. We need more wood to finish the porch, so I can’t do that. I have Kel here, so I can’t go out to take pictures. My sister let him eat candy the entire time she had him today, so he’s pretty much bouncing off the walls. The time change has really messed him up. He’s staying up way too late and slept very late this morning. I’m not complaining about him sleeping later though. It was really nice to sleep until 9:30 this morning. I could get used to that.

Freemont Street In Vegas Wont Leave You Bored
2008-03-05 01:43:00 We were lucky enough to spend this past weekend in Las Vegas for the NASCAR races. For the first time we stayed in downtown Vegas near the famous Freemont Street. If you have never experienced Freemont Street, I have to say for being old Vegas compared to the strip, that it is worth the visit. Freemont is a pedestrian only street that is covered for 3 blocks. Whats really cool is that at night there is a show that is projected onto the street cover every hour. With no cars allowed on the street, the environment feels much safer as you walk along looking at all the attractions. With a outside stage, motorcycles in cages, a stunt bike area and more, there are plenty of free things to do. You can spend an entire evening without giving a casino your money and have a fun time. I know because we did just that one night. Now only if we did that every night we would have come home with a lot more money than we did.
