The Galleria Borghese houses a substantial part of the Borghese collection of paintings, sculpture and antiquities, which was begun by Cardinal Scipione Borghese, the nephew of Pope Paul V (reign 1605–1621). The Villa was built by the architect Flaminio Ponzio, developing sketches by Scipione Borghese himself, who used it as a villa suburbana, a party villa at the edge of Rome. 2008-01-19 17:38:00 I usually avoid masks in the winter, I’ve had lots of bad experiences of masks leaving me feeling too tight and dry. I bought Borghese Fango Delicato Active Mud a while ago and never got around to using it, I’ve got rules about opening too many products at once - I’m just an old lady like that. I got to open it yesterday and immediately the scent calmed my nerves and apprehendsion, it’s light and fresh and trustworthy. I have a big tub of it so I experimented with it and I applied it to my face and arms - it tightened without drying or making my skin feel stripped. If you’ve never had a mask that left you with that feeling consider yourself lucky because it is terrible. Un bel niente verrebbe da dire ed in parte è anche vero. Abbiamo allora deciso di andare a bere qualcosa al Cuba sulla place Python, noto bar dalla gestione oscura che all'entrata mostra fiero un'effigie del più noto dei Guevara. Ecco Vale gustarsi una Margarita alla fragola parecchio vistosa.Resici conto dell'indirizzo un po' troppo a sinistra del locale abbiamo così pensato che sarebbe stato opportuno compensare con un bar dallo stile totalmente opposto, un bar "borghese" insomma. Siamo così entrati nel poco distante Etude per sorseggiare ancora qualcosa. 2007-06-16 16:31:00 Era ben dal lontano 26 novembre 2006 che non rimanevo in terra friborghese per il week-end (sic!); in quell'occasione si disputava alla S. Léonard la partita di hockey tra i locali Gottéron e l'HCL.Complici gli esami in pericolosissimo avvicinamento, il soggorno a Friborgo anche nei giorni festivi è quindi d'obbligo.Ieri sera comunque, anche per riprendermi da un'intensa giornata trascorsa tra la spedizione d'Egitto di Napoleone e i problemi spagnoli riguardanti i separatisti catalani e baschi, un'uscita sulla carta tranquilla non poteva di certo mancare! Col fido Matteo (vedi foto) ho visitato i soliti ritrovi infrasettimanali, con la differenza che erano frequentati anche da giovani della regione.Quando si meditava di rientare chez-nous sono giunti alcuni personaggi ticinesi coi quali non abbiamo potuto esimerci dal bere qualcosa.Eccoli qua in pieghe molto toniche!
