Brady Quinn Headed to Denver Broncos
2010-03-15 04:52:00
After much speculation former Notre Dame quarterback was dealt from the Cleveland Browns to the Denver Broncos on Sunday. Quinn will get a chance to start for Denver, in return the Browns receive fullback Peyton Hillis, a 2011 6th round draft pick, and a conditional draft pick in the 2012 draft.Quinn has had a disappointing career to date in the NFL, playing in only 14 games during his first three seasons in the league. Quinn has thrown 10 touchdowns to 9 interceptions with a quarterback rating of 66.8.This trade gives Brady Quinn a fresh start with the Denver Broncos where he will be given the opportunity to start, likely competing with Purdue product and former Chicago Bear, Kyle Orton.Will...

Brady Quinn the bigot...
2008-02-14 19:39:00
Wow, that sucks this has to happen. Cleveland Browns quarterback Brady Quinn was part of a group of men shouting insults at gay passers-by outside a Columbus bar early on New Year's Day, according to a 9-1-1 call made to police. The call at 2:35 a.m. came from Seth Harris, who reported that he encountered the group in front of La Fogata Grill at 790 North High St. The Mexican restaurant is
WTF? Is Brady Quinn Really a Homophobe?

Evidently, Brady and his buddies were not being very nice to our gay brothers at a Columbus watering hole on New Year’s Day. Funny how this took 6 weeks to surface ? on both sides. The story is all over the place. Quinn’s camp is mum. At most, Brady has ...
Brady Quinn Locker Room Scene
2008-01-09 17:20:00
Last night, Sam and I fantasized about finding a solo, horned-up Brady Quinn in a locker room. It wasn’t the straight-QB-goes-gay-for-an-hou-r fantasy. The Mighty Quinn was into it… the boy had skills. I can’t speak for Sam, but for me it was as much about the caterpillar brows and the goofy-ass hair ...

Cleveland Brady Quinn Should Start Now
2007-08-20 21:42:00
After holding out for a contract based on the instruction of his agent CAA's Tom Condon, Cleveland First Round Draft pick QB and former ND standout Brady Quinn came in to guide the Browns in the 4th quarter. At the time, the Browns were not only down but even though it was a preseason game, needed a lift. Quinn gave them that. He completed 13 of 20 for 178 yards and two touchdowns. At one point he was 5-for-5. Brady's used to that kind of pressure -- remember UCLA in 2006? -- and he did it again. Yes, it was a preseason game, and they weren't starters. But with that kind of performance and given his history, I say start him for the next game and see what happens.
Brady Quinn - Starting Cleveland Browns QB?
2007-08-19 02:48:00
An article in this week's Sporting News about Brown's QB Brady Quinn got me to thinking who would be the best QB to lead the Browns this season. I share the same opinion of his competitors, incumbent Charlie Frye and back-up Derek Anderson, that most do - that neither will block Quinn the moment the Cleveland staff feels Quinn is ready to take over. In Scientific Football 2007, K.C. Joyner offers an opinion that could favor Quinn despite the holdout. He writes, "[The Browns] have completely retooled the offensive system....Their quarterbacks and receivers are all young and are now going to have to learn a completely new system that is very difficult to grasp for the first year [Mike Martz-style offense]." While Fyre's experience, and Anderson's for that matter, should allow them to ramp-up in a new system quicker, it is not so great as to leave the competitve field so uneven that Quinn could not win the job the Browns clearly want him to have by next season. Otherwise, why deal ...
Quinn Signs, Minter Retires
2007-08-09 05:55:00
Brady Quinn has ended his 11 day holdout and finally signs with the Cleveland Browns. He agreed to a five-year contract worth 20.2 million, with 7.75 million guaranteed.Mike Minter, Carolina's career leader in games started and tackles, has decided to call it quits after 10 seasons."I thought about it long and hard," Minter said. "I don't want to be at 80 or 85 percent, but want to be remembered as a player who always played at 100 percent."Minter has had trouble with his knees and wasn't sure his body could complete another grueling NFL season.
NFL Quarterback Brady Quinn Signs Cleveland Browns $30m Contract
2007-08-08 17:53:00
The 22nd overall pick of the NFL draft, Brady Quinn, has signed a contract with the Cleveland Brown for five years that could earn Quinn $30 million but guarantees the QB $7.75 million. The five year contract has a base value of $20.2 million and this as well as the maximum are higher than any of ...
Brady Quinn Ends Holdout, Signs with Browns [David Stefanini]
2007-08-07 22:16:00
Brady Quinn has ended his holdout. Today he signed a 5 year deal with the Cleveland Browns, who drafted him 22nd in this years NFL Draft. Here is ESPN.com with more:Brady Quinn has agreed to a five-year contact with the Cleveland Browns worth $20.2 million, with $7.75 million guaranteed, ending his holdout. The deal could grow to $30 million over five years with incentives. Quinn, who was on his way to Cleveland to join his teammates on Tuesday, had been working out at an athletic training facility in Arizona while his contract was being negotiated. Having missed the first 10 days of training camp, Quinn, 22, faces a considerable catch-up period at a position where the learning curve is already difficult. Although he performed in a sophisticated offense at Notre Dame, and under the tutelage of coach Charlie Weis, who is famous for developing quarterbacks, Quinn struggled in the spring workouts and minicamps. Quinn likely has lost his chance to open the season as the Browns' star...
Profootballtalk.com Calls For Brady Quinn To Fire CAA's Tom Condon
2007-08-05 19:15:00
Will CAA Sports Divsion's Tom Condon lose yet another high profile quarterback, having just lost Matt Leinart earlier this year. Well, there's no official word but if Profootballtalk.com has its way, it could happen. This is what Florio and his people over there are Profootballtalk.com wrote:QUINN SHOULD FIRE CONDONEarlier this week, a league source opined to us that Browns quarterback Brady Quinn should fire agent Tom Condon. We disagreed, due in large part to the rule that requires Quinn to wait five days before hiring a new agent. But given the fact that Condon has displayed no sense of urgency to get the contract finalized so that Quinn can commence his career as a member of a football franchise that desperately needs to give folks in Cleveland a reason to cheer, we now believe that Quinn should write up the letter disengaging from Condon and send it to the NFLPA.Just do it, Brady. Forget about the marketing guarantee or whatever other inducement Condon offered to get you t...

How To Get Brady Quinn’s Body
2007-07-10 15:02:00
(Guest article by Craig Ballantyne, author of Turbulence Training) Brady Quinn’s workout was recently featured in Men’s Health magazine, and showed how he built his muscle mass and strength for football. Brady has the all-American physique, and you can have it too by using the same weight lifting methods. One of my jobs for Men’s Health is to film exercise videos. And recently, I filmed the exercises from Brady Quinn’s workout that was featured in the magazine. The weightlifting exercises in Brady’s workout include the front squat, the bench press, some dumbell rows and deadlifts, pullups, and even stability ball leg curls. These exercises are perfect for building a great, muscular physique as well as improving performance. You really have to see them performed properly to understand the benefits. According to Men’s Health, “Brady Quinn’s workout centers on exercises that build strength, stability, speed, and power in the least amount ...
Joe Montana - Brady Quinn Needs To Work On Touch
2007-06-29 00:46:00
In an interview with a Kirk Bolh , former SF 49ers, Chiefs, and Notre Dame QB Joe Montana said ?He throws the ball vertically very well, but the touch things, he?s got some work to do. He tries to knock a few guys over.?Brady would do well to listen to Joe, considered the greatest QB of our time. Montana also offered this about the Raiders JaMarcus Russell: "?He?s obviously got a tremendous arm, but I don?t know what he?s got happening in Oakland. That?s an uphill battle.?But Bohl's didn't ask Joe why he believed this, making for an imcomplete conversation.

Will Brady Quinn win, or be a bust?
2007-05-04 19:10:00
Football Outsiders has a nice article that looks at what factors predict QB success in the pros. It turns out that number of games started and completion percentage in college are the most important predictors of pro success.Based on this, Quinn should do well, while JaMarcus Russell is a risk.
2007 NFL Draft --
2007-05-01 15:16:00
"With the 9th pick, the Miami Dolphins select...Ted Ginn Jr., WR out of Ohio State..."Fans: (stunned silence)....BOO!!!....what the...BOO!!!...omg I can't...BOO!!!Cam Cameron: "...I said QUINN! not Ginn!....QUINN!....The reaction of Dolphins fans after Saturday's pick was not taken well to say the least. Moments after the blunder, Coach Cameron stepped out of the war-room, seemingly oblivious to the fact that he set the Dolphins back another 10 years by picking Ted Gimp, and got absolutely bombarded with a storm of thumb down's and boo's (I'm surprised fans weren't throwing up a different, more centrally located finger.) Watching that unfold live on TV, I have to give it a solid 9 on the unintentional comedy scale. Utterly fantastic. Another highlight has to be Quinn shaking his head after the pick was announced, uttering "Wow, I'm surprised" in such a way that later makes you realize Miami meets the Browns on October 14th, where Brady will promptly throw for 6 TD's and 500 ...

Brady Quinn Delighted to Be Selected By the Browns, Vows Vengeance Against
2007-04-29 17:02:00
Brady Quinn; excited to be a Brown, excited to prove the Browns wrong. After a tense and oftentimes painful first round of the draft, Brady Quinn finally found a home in Cleveland. With the 22nd pick of the draft, the Browns selected the Notre Dame QB after trading their second round and 2007 first round picks to switch places with the Dallas Cowboys. The selection came towards the end of the
The moment of truth is upon us

Well, the No. 12 pick in the draft may have more consequence than any other draft choice.Do the Buffalo Bills go after Cal running back Marshawn Lynch? And if they do, what do the Packers do then?Of course, perhaps the No. 9 pick when the Packers passed on Brady Quinn could have some consequence too.Do you think A.J. Hawk is on the phone with Ted Thompson hyping up his brother-in-law?I heard somewhere that the New York Jets were looking to move up into the top 15. The Packers aren't in the top 15, but they're right outside it.
Quinn may fall to No. 16
2007-04-28 19:55:00
The guys on Sirius NFL Radio said once Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn fell past the Dolphins at No. 9, he would probably fall all the way to the Green Bay Packers choice at No. 16.No one is saying the Packers will select Brady, but it does sound eerily familiar to 2005 when Aaron Rodgers fell to the Packers late in the first round, doesn't it?Could the Packers trade back to a Brady Quinn suitor? The question is, does anyone want him that bad.Respected draft expert Gil Brandt also said that the Packers have a particular player eyeballed in the second round but did not comment further.Interesting possibilities here, folks.
Brady Quinn, QB, Notre Dame
2007-04-27 05:57:00
If the Browns decide to choose a QB (and I hope they don't), then my choice would be Brady Quinn. While JaMarcus Russell is a tremendously gifted athlete with a cannon for an arm, Brady Quinn is a more polished passer who is more prepared to step into a pro offense.Sentiment has shifted from Quinn to Russell over the past few months, in part due to LSU's bowl win over Notre Dame, but overall Quinn has a longer track record of quality play with a mediocre supporting cast, than Russell has with a better supporting cast. Russell is raw and probably has more upside, but also more potential downside and therefore is the riskier pick.
Draft Special: Brady Quinn Quarterback Notre Dame
2007-04-23 15:53:00
Meet: Brady Quinn a QB from Notre Dame. A lot of people like to refer to Brady Quinn as an all-american boy, but I've seen the guy take hit after hit and get right back up without any hesitation, he's definitely got guts. He's also got a prototypical size for an NFL QB: 6'3 232. In what was his senior season, Quinn posted 35 Td's to 5 Int's and threw for over 3,000 yards. Despite overcoming a Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator change mid-way through his collegiate years. Brady was still able to win the Maxwell Award as a Senior and finish 3rd in the Heisman Race. It was reported last week that Jon Gruden met with Brady Quinn to get to know the QB better.

<img hspace="5" src="http://images.bucem.c-om/images/admin/Brady.jpg"- border>
<p&-gt; Here's Brady's assessment via Footballs Futur...

S Reggie Nelson and QB Brady Quinn to visit Bucs
2007-04-01 21:51:00
NFL.com reports the Bucs have visits set with Florida Safety Reggie Nelson and Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn.
As a senior, 6'4 231 lb. QB Brady Quinn threw for 3,278 yards, while completing over 63% of his passes. He also tallied 35/5 TD to INT ratio. He also won the Maxwell award and finished 3rd in the Heisman race.
Safety Reggie Nelson, 6'1 193 lbs, became one of the biggest playmakers in the country last season. He had 50 tackles, two for loss, and six interceptions on the year.
I guess by meeting with Reggie Nelson, the Bucs are preparing to make a potential move down in the draft in the event that Calvin Johnson does not fall to them with the 4th Pick in the NFL Draft.
synopsis courtesy of Football&#-39;s Future
