NBK's native place reigns supreme wedding reception of Brahmani and Lokesh
2007-08-07 13:34:00 Nimmakur in Krishna district is spruced up for the grand gala of the wedding reception of Brahmani and Lokesh on August 29th. The marriage will be performed on August 26th at HICC, Hyderabad, amidst an expected gathering from close circles. Sources said that though the reception was earlier planned at Kakinada, the birthplace of NBK's wife Vasundara, later it got shifted to Nimmakur. Of the NTR's clan, only the marriage of Harikrishna was performed at the semi-town, thus making the wedding reception as the second biggest event of the family. The place assumed overnight significance when the audio of Jr. NTR's film Andhrawala, was launched there in December 2003 with about five lakh people attending the event. Similar thing happened during the audio release function of 'Yama Donga'. Brahmanandam, during his speech, said, "We have two oxen on this dais. One is Mohan Babu, the Ongole Ox and the other is NTR, a tiny calf that is actively jumping".
